If that's the case, then explain how no one at PC is revolting and their talents think the situation was handled fair, which is implied by the following quotes:

I believe that if Sakana did something as bold as dumping a talent because they aren't useful enough, everyone else from the same company would be very wary and not particularly supportive towards him, both in public and private, because the same could happen to them in the future. Also, keep Michiru in mind. No offense meant to her, but she doesn't provide much income for the company, and yet she hasn't been axed so far, so why start with someone as popular as Yuri? I'm pretty sure that if he saw Yuri as a useless asset, he'd just refuse to finance her like Michiru who AFAIK wasn't provided with a PC, new model or anything. PC just leaves her be.

I know you're mad and want to find a target to sperg about, but keep in mind that it's pointless and a waste of time if you don't provide any actual information confirming your epic theory other than your own paranoid ideation.

There have been instances with companies like WACTOR getting away with a lot of fucked up actions, but even that requires a lot of effort to keep things under wraps. I don't think a company as transparent (to a degree) as PC with chubas like the blessed rabbit who most likely wouldn't bother participating in weird conspiracies could get away with this sort of treatment.

More HoloStars moments from VCR RUST. It includes Gamma trying to escape Astel's loan sharking, Roberu getting Deron-san's phone number from the love gacha, the server going down and a helicopter crashing on a birthday boy's house, Astel and Niu getting married, and Gamma the team killer.

And someone mentioned that Phase paid for Yuri's new model while Lumi had hers paid for by fan donations. If Phase was gonna pump and dump it seems weird to just throw cash away to give a girl a new model only to fire her and if I'm not mistaken, she only even used the new model around 6-7 months, very poor return on investment.

Moonshine Animations did a video for her character and featured her in some others, which was likely commissioned by Phase; he was also in the process of making a new Yuri vid or one featuring her when Phase announced her termination.

Basically, it started from this year's VSaikyo with Astel being his usual self, Rikka and Gamma getting 2nd and 3rd place, TSB making an EN presence. If anything, VCR RUST feels like a continuation with even more people from the JP scene.

The main difference between Ame/Gura and Ina (also Sana) is that neither of them have a stable main job to fall on.

Gura is not going back to being a drunk gremlin, and there's little benefit for Ame to go back to stream as an indie unless she really really really craves the freedom to stream anything she wants.
