I've always wondered how troons buy shoes. I'm guessing many just buy men's shoes and have a fit when you point that out.

In U.S/Canada shoe sizes, men's shoe size is 1.5-2 sizes bigger than the equivalent women's size. I'd assume a lot of men fall in US size 9-12 range, and I'd imagine a 6'5 dude must be at least size 12 or bigger unless he has abnormally small feet for his height. That means at least a size 10.5/11 US or higher in a women's size. And I know that those sizes are often not sold or in limited quantity in shoe stores. I remember shoe sales getting rid of their unsold inventory would usually start at 9 US women's and above, which would be a mere 6.5/7 shoe size in men's. Even some manlets I know have bigger feet than that.

You go to specialist retailers who carry outlier sizes and orthotic-friendly shoes, and pay a premium for having weird hard-to-fit feet. Or buy fuck-me heels from drag outfitters. Source: am a woman with weird hard-to-fit feet.

It's like a stage name, I guess. It's at least preferable to the ones who decide to take their sister's name without changing the surname, creating an even more intensely creepy skin walking experience.

Stage name is an interesting concept when applied to them.
It makes it a more full fictional character, more so than changing their Christian name (to an Islamic name, lol) and still keeping their real surname.. now they get to know it’s all fake, and the real them is somewhere else, somewhere behind the curtain.
It excuses all new behaviour while also escaping completely from the past.
I’ve noticed it seems to be more MtFs than FTMs who go for the full change .. but that’s vague annecdotal, I may be mistaken

It's about as shitty as any other dating app, honestly.

Almost entirely women. There are more men on there than MtF's - men who are not even trying to hide or deny being men - but it's easy enough to report them and move on.
There's about equal numbers of transbians and AFAB gender-specials, but it's a pretty small number, less common than men who can't stay out of queer women's spaces.

There are also community pages, and I've seen a couple posts complaining about how the transbians all just match with each other instead of with cis women.

I would like the op and all commenters to know that this is how every natural born woman feels, even the most ardent screeching ally feels this way. They may think they have a point talking about ovarian cancer but it's just the struggling of flies caught in a web. No woman sees you as a woman even if they engage in Pavlovian pronoun practice. They just don't, so secret yourself away with other women* or put on your VR headset and never set foot outside again.

what's insane is that at first they were fine if you just told them you had nothing against them, then recently i heard my cousin coming up with this kind of behaviour and ofc they're all on board.
i once told her to me this stuff never made sense and she was fine with it, claiming that i was "confused" 😅


this isn't even the first time that stuff like this happens, it's the biggest case of hive mind i've ever seen and i'm honestly concerned
