I complete agree with Dr. Robert Bohan. Montana should be sending books on not just the Holocaust but Nazi Germany and Nazism in particular to every home so they know two things: 1. troons aren't being genocided at all and should be shamed for claiming their "struggle" is similar to the victims of the Holocaust 2. troons openly say they want a totalitarian regime like the Nazis desired and created and one really angry dude outlined in a book about his "struggle" after the state silenced his ability to speak in public.

I'm amused at how many of these people scream at me about how the law is the law and rules must always be followed blindly without thought (perhaps especially when the person is completely ignorant of what the law is) but when the Montana House is following its own rules to potentially punish a member for violating the rules now we're at "So much for the land of the free. At least one brave woman stood for the American republic" starts pouring out from people who openly call for the shredding of the law, especially the Constitution, at every turn when it stands in their way. I really don't ask for much, I just want you guys to be honest that you think rules and/or laws should only ever constrain others and be flexible to always ensure you get what you want.

THAT’S the issue, as I’m perceiving it. He used the opposing legislators’ perceived religious views (which tbf, he’s right, they are mostly non-denom Christians; MT Catholics lean left) as an argument! That’s so objectively inappropriate! It’s (imo) inappropriate when the GOP invokes Christian beliefs as a valid reason in and of themselves for opposing abortion, and it’s inappropriate when Zooey appeals to opposers’ Christian beliefs as a valid reason to flip to his position ( as in implying they’re hypocrites and also are bad at their religion, or, more accurately, as a reason they should feel Very Badly about themselves, huh Zac?).

See, even then, I would argue that Zac's supporters have every incentive to read bad faith into this. You're debating about a trans issue, and the one trans representative who can speak about the issue runs afoul of some technicality when using a passionate rhetorical device, is told to apologize, refusing to, because everybody in the room knows it wasn't actually that offensive, then told he can't speak at all. It looks petty. Republicans certainly have bit of a track record for pulling dodgy procedural stunts like, especially against women, such as Michigan Rep. Liz Brown being barred from speaking for saying 'vagina' during a debate about abortions and undoing Senator Wendy Davis' successful filibuster of a comprehensive Texas abortion bill. It's stuff like this (exaggerated, doubtless) that gave the Left the idea the Republicans were the stuffy authoritarians who were waging the culture war. Hell even Majorie Taylor-Greene recently got silenced by her own side in a Homeland Security hearing when she called someone testifying a liar.

I know they're troons and what they are advocating for is vile and self-serving, but nobody can argue it's a good look for the team pushing this bill to silence the one person it's relevant to over a figure of speech - and, as you said, it makes Zac look exactly like the victim they claim they are.

Pretty sure they need a 2/3 majority for expulsion/censure, most of the "anti trans" bills have been passing with votes of 66-32 so it'll be a close vote potentially. I don't think they'll get there but we'll see.

I find it absolutely wild that all of these figures all just so happen to be drawn to one another, like what are the actual odds of Gaptooth just so happening to be in a relationship with the sole trans activist representative who is now embroiled in a vote which might see Gobbo be the first representative from Montana censured in probably decades. Housing rights etc require studying things that aren’t very interesting to troons, i.e. things that are not to do with being trans and by extension, themselves. I have yet to encounter a trans professional who did not make their career revolve around transness.
