Last night when TTS started bringing up the books, simmons was briefly called down to basement; afterwards he lied and said the producers were looking for a knife and jet ran in to back him up when jon prodded.

I think that meeting had something to do with sam’s behavior today, as well as the boost in mood after the basement meeting with the fish.

If it took them that long for that to click that proves that they're also really retarded. I realized it after the Simmons fight and subsequent 3 hour heart-to-heart.
