I feel like you couldn't have done it well with current GTA online or even older GTA Online, you were a criminal from day one, you weren't going to suddenly become a beat cop. Rockstar is incredibly lazy when it comes to this shit in GTA Online. I can see two options depending on how deep they'd want to go with cutscenes and voice acting.

First option, they have someone in the force or even the IAA deputize you so you can go undercover in the LSPD to uncover the corruption.

Or

They have some dipshit new character they made up or someone like Jimmy send you a text that's like "Yo, this is straight bussin, the police are selling their old vehicles on Warstock Cache and Carry, no cap fr fr. It'd be straight fire if you picked up some of them wheels!"

And then you would just be able to buy police vehicles on the website and maybe they'd make some new garage you'd have to buy in order to buy customization options for them.

Could even be a combo of both tbqh

I'm not going to say it wasn't high satire, but it was satire that fit with the game's content of doing criminal mayhem.

I was hoping they'd add some new plate designs. I know there were some Liberty City/Vice City designs found in the game files, but maybe they were removed in the next gen versions?

That's how actual NY hip hop DJs would cut up songs on the radio back in the late 80's-early 90's though? They'd always cut back after a particularly clever rhyme or verse or catchy sounding segment for example.

After they fucked with Import/Export business thanks to Tuners DLC (i.e. modified stolen cars are no longer comes with bulletproof tires, the Source Mission gives you the car and variant you already have in warehouse and delivering it will do fuckall, etc.), I am not surprised hearing this.

I want to know why the songs are shortened in VCS. It wasn't the case in LCS, and that was a PSP title as well.

I don't know, but I thought it was hilarious that on V-Rock in VCS Lazlo is just an intern and Cousin Ed treats him like crap and then two years later Cousin Ed calls into V-Rock complaining about how Lazlo took his job.
