i like how all of his stories are just miserable, obviously fake shit relevant to what's going on to be annoying. "hey no rough housing near sharp tables, my friend had his spinal cord severed that way. any questions? see ya"
"Hey don't post in the fishtank thread too much, I had a friend who I always confided into then one day.....he just cut his wrist straight down from posting too fast, I never had anyone like him and I was just sitting in the basement trying to get past all of it and then I just know it wasn't how it was gonna be."

I keep hearing that you can't trade fishbucks. Is that true?

If so Vance might have made the deal knowing he has to keep it all.
Sam said you can't steal them. He didn't say anything about trades. He also said that he's legally binded to the deal and has to cash them out for $500 each, citing certain legal cases regarding contests being scams.

If I see the term "glazed ham" one more time I think I'm going to have a mental breakdown.

TLDR: your argument centers around the concept that Jon is too entertaining, therefore he makes the show worse. I think this is flawed
I agree with most of your descriptions of the Fishtank as it is now, but you are missing my core argument because you are pointing to what the show has become with Jon in the mix and comparing that to my hypothetical Jonless show (also because my point is more autistic than you probably realized). My point isn't that Jon makes the show worse. My point is that a lack of Jon on The Jon Show makes The Jon Show worse, and that is a separate argument from "this is what the Fishtank would have been without Jon". I'm not trying to argue that the show would be better if Jon wasn't on the show either. The argument I'm making is that things would have developed in a fundamentally different way without Jon, so it's annoying to read comments pointing to The Jon Show when Jon leaves the room and saying that the Fishtank would be as boring if there was no Jon. (the italics is the only argument I was really trying to make, and apparently I am spergy enough to actually argue a point that autistic.)

It’s just odd that you assume there would be more fish toys, chat interactions, and contestant interaction. There’s simply no evidence for that. If Jon was gone does that mean tts would’ve been on far more often during the days it wasn’t? Maybe people would be allowed to slur over tts? Would the fish toys be active earlier? Is hellhouse not hellhouse simply because Jon? Maybe Jet only gave the pizza party just to calm Jon down, and if Jon wasn’t there he would’ve told all the fish to suck it up and go to bed.

There have been times where Jon isn’t in a room for multiple hours while other fish are, and unlike the statement you’ve made saying that this would be a time where the fish would be plotting and scheming to stave off boredom it’s usually filled with boring conversation, drumming, harmonica sounds (previously), pointless improv (previously), or another person trying to fill Jon’s gap by screaming randomly with none of the passion or likability (see Damiel).

The development of the show would have been different without Jontent. You say it's odd that I assume the crew would be doing things to make the show more interesting without Jontent, and the crew have made a lot of fuckups and dumb decisions, so that's fair. However, I think it's odd to think there wouldn't have been some effort put in to dealing with a show as boring as the Jontentless show you describe over the past 10 days. Maybe it would have been a bad show, maybe it would have turned out to be really cool, I don't know. I am confident, however, that the Fishtank 10 days into the show would not just be The Jon Show without Jon in the room.
