A change of pace, if anyone's interested: the production company that makes "Noroi no Video" ("Cursed Video"), a series that purports to showcase paranormal or "cursed" videos and stories sent in by the public, has started uploading clips with English subtitles. It started back in 1999 when the J-horror boom began.

They have a big backlog of videos that run the gamut from genuinely creepy to cringy and obviously fake, which are still fun to watch without subtitles, since they're pretty much presented as "Here's a video that has a ghost in it. Is it real? Who knows."

Another one is THEつぶろ ("THEtuburo" or "TheTubro"?) that investigates Japanese urban legends and creepy images, but as far as I know they don't have any videos with English translations. They took on Jeff the Killer after receiving a lot of requests from Westerners (don't speak Japanese and no one has translated it so I have no comment):

UrbanSpook made a new video, the audio kills my eardrums but his art is superb and manages to convey a spooky feeling very well. Even then his serial killer cases feel a bit too tryhard in general.

i liked it, the imagery and sound are brutal the art is great and its not pretendious, just a horrible fictional crime scene, and stuff like this has happened irl so its there, dont find it scary but its still nice at least when it comes to modern analog horror and the like

still ive seen wojaks and pooners scarier than those paintings and images and those might have been made by actual mentally ill people

I remember seeing a video about his history a long time ago when the whole Dad thing started and he was complaining about a stupid dance he had done that got reuploaded and went viral but he never got credit for it. I had completely forgotten about Dad because it seemed like artsy fartsy ARG shit. Dude should just give up, he's been doing this for years and cries when he doesn't get enough attention.

Person "supposedly" finds a old 2007 flash game that has a secret ending nobody knows about and spoiler: it's not a real game.

This shit is so beyond fake, gay and try hard, I feel embarrassed having even finished watching it from start to finish. This so-called "flash game" misses all the hallmarks about what makes something look like a flash game. I.E. hastily drawn vector lines, shitty cropped jpeg images, color gradients, god awful audio compression. This is just some gay tumblr poser trying (and failing) to emulate early 2000s internet "nostalgia" with their edgy characters (at least not with some more tweaking to make it more accurate + believable). Not to mention the shitty filters that wouldn't be possible on a vector based program like Flash. The "disturbing" hidden ending near the end is just "ooo wow, Lacey's business is failing, let's switch it over to using disturbing imagery of sex and degenerate substances. Now That's What I Call [FORCED NOSTALGIA HORROR] 25! The zoomers are gonna shit their pants over this one!" This video sucks and anyone who finds this scary or believable should go back to doing retarded dances on TikTok frfr nocap ong.

this and Lacey's wardrobe are the least scary things ever, and it's not because I'm desensitized to violence in games, movies, and animations. Zoomers are literally scared of everything

For a while, circa 2013-2016, there were internet communities on mainstream sites (like Facebook) that rejoiced in watching gore and obscure CP videos. I'm sure you can still find people obsessed with gore, but I'm astonished by how many people linked to actual CP and torture on Facebook. Some people are really sick and lobe to claim they've watched some really fucked up shit.

Another zoomer horror youtuber covered it nine months ago which likely is where some of the attention came from yet again but I have to guess tiktok is to blame.
