Make me the magnet of , but I genuinely hope he is serious about turning himself around and actually makes an attempt to fix things.

I know it's a 99.9999999999 chance that this won't happen (since this is most likely a manipulative message to ease his custody battle), but maybe, just maybe, THIS would be the moment Ralph doesn't pull a Lowtax and instead pulls an Armake21 and turns everything around. It won't be easy, but he will at least die with respect than wither away as some sort of husk.

Again, almost certain it won't happen, but who knows? Maybe the internet needs another redemption arc.

I don't think he will change. From personal experience when you are at a low point and desperate it is easy to lay bare and admit all your faults in an effort to win people back. It takes some effort and commitment to actually fall though on fixing the faults once things settle and you accept the situation.

At this point, trying to quit without medical supervision could prove just as deadly, but quicker than drinking himself to death.

That genuinely seemed repentant and self reflective and showed he wants to change/better himself.

That oddly made me feel for the dude, I wonder if he will even attempt it or just spiral back down.

It's also a lie, he says he's two days sober but we watched him polish off a handle of 101 proof bourbon 24 hours ago. It's lip service for pantsu, just like all the suicide baiting, the my dead momma!'s, and every other lie he tells himself. Kat his first girlfriend, Nora his first wife, and Faith his first baby momma left him for the same reason and he self-reflected after every one of those break ups. It's only gotten worse. Anything he says on twitter or in a DM is to manipulate floundering paypigs and women.

He's also fucked his life up way too much to even come back at this point. The 100k+ debt, the back taxes, the addiction, can't even come back to the US or he's going to lose his vehicle, his family is trying to take the only property he owns. I mean how the fuck do you even turn that around.

He might be able to kick the booze for a little while again, but I feel that xanax shit is going to be a great struggle. With the amount he consumes on a daily basis. That will take a lot of willpower and pain.

Even if by some miracle the Gunt gets sober it will all unravel when he is dragged squealing to court for Rozy's child support. Or whatever happens with the divorce proceeding. I'm sure Harry will pony up for a real nasty lawyer for Meigh.

This is just the bargaining phase attempting to lure his totally wholesome "family" back. The wife and kids are just props to him, a way to own the hayders and impress his remaining audience who have never seen a girl naked themselves. He's not capable of change, white trash is hard-coded in his DNA. Even if he wanted to detox I don't think it's possible without professional help since he has zero self discipline not to mention any money for rehab.

He is an addict..this is all addict behavior so far. Use until you lose something big, then make as many promises as are necessary to get it back. He is still hearing Dick telling him to stop but as soon as he is back home he will fall back into the same old habits. Promises are easy but so is popping a pill when something negative happens.
