I don't think I've ever seen a non-troon/IDPOL brainlet using gender tags on twitch, but I'm also extremely allergic to those kinds of people so I stay away from the tags regardless of what the stream thumbnail might show. I think I follow one or two people who actively uses LGBT+ tags without the gender tags and they have the kind of audience you think they'd have.
