One of the funniest things to me about Shame is that he makes these condescending statements to other people that apply so much to himself. It’s like there’s this unconscious current of self-hatred and self-awareness running through him, that expresses itself constantly.

“Not engaging honestly isn’t hurting anyone except you” says the man who has picked random daily fights with people for 20 years, never intending to debate anything, just fling insults for dopamine.

Same when he lectures about morality, like “Truth matters, Evidence matters, MAGAs”. Meanwhile, he lies about his entire life constantly, or believes something with zero proof simply because he wants it to be true.
