Do we know if Chris Chan is on the sex offenders registry? I just tried looking it up and It says Virigina's service on the registry is unavailable.

We don't know yet if Barb had a rape kit done, but it seems unlikely. Probably not til August will we find out if the court has any permissible evidence to go on besides Chris's own words, but right now we don't really know how much Barb has cooperated or been involved at all in the proceedings. I think it's really unlikely that she's cooperated, and if Chris is not convicted, that will be the reason. It won't be tism defence, trans lesbian soul, or a lack of interest in prosecuting rape, but just that Chris's word isn't credible enough to the courts. If it were, half of Greene County would have done time. But we have to wait and see.

If he really is off supervision, I'm extremely impressed he hasn't touched the internet once during all of this even if he was told not to by a tard wrangler.

I'm honestly surprised. If Chris really wanted to, nothing stopped him from getting a cheapo phone or tablet and using public wi-fi. He's willingly abstaining, for now.

He's been released to somebody. Absent his aunt/uncle making some very poor choices or a windfall we don't know about... a group home/re-entry center is the most likely case. I think the primary thing keeping Chris in line is that he can grasp immediate consequences. I think that's probably why he handled incarceration. If you fuck up there are immediate and appreciable consequences that will get the message through.

Most re-entry programs will keep new people fairly locked down. There's a lot of reasons but a big one is this gives them a carrot and a stick. Fuck around? Back to the clink. Get with the program? Things continue to get better. The group home is probably getting some portion of his benefits which would likely take a lot of the work pressure off of him that normal inmates face. Which leaves him a lot of free time in a very controlled environment where the "easiest" path is doing what he is supposed to. They'll know his restrictions and he may even be housed with people with similar restrictions.

Wal-mart/shopping is a very typical outing. I know Magic is surprisingly popular with prison populations. Nerds commit crime too. The store he was spotted at likely has further along residents that visit and Chris tagged along. Helping newbies assimilate is the kind of thing they encourage with older residents to get their freedom eventually. They're supposed to be building trust to be left unsupervised and narcing on each other is one of the few hobbies they can have. As much as Chris may want to make a beeline to a library he's probably (barely) controlling himself if he knows it's an immediate ticket back to jail.

Some have speculated his lawyer but as a condition of his release not to return to the internet. Others have speculated someone at the group home convinced him not to go back on the internet.

The fact is until Chris diverges why we will never know.
The only other candidate that possibly knows is praetor and dear God no one really wants to talk to that guy.

Oh that is exactly what happens, problem patients usually get passed around without warning whatsoever. Facilities can refuse a person based on any number of factors, if they know someone is going to be an issue, they don't have beds or aren't capable of providing that level of care. And the facility looking to rid themselves of the patient sure as hell isn't gonna shoot themselves in the foot by saying "Yeah this guy will have the phones ringing off the hook with retards yelling JULAY."

if you go look at amazon you'll find tons of extremely inexpensive feature phones, flip phones are still made today, they are popular with the elderly and handicapped, and in third world shitholes that cannot afford smartphones.

Feature phones are very easy to get and sit somewhere in between an oldschool phone and a smartphone. They usually don't have app stores per se, but come with a few out-and-about like Google Maps, WhatsApp, etc.

Nobody knows for sure if he’s in a group home and nobody knows wtf said group home rules are. Some are very restrictive and some are literally just a place to live with some basic common decency rules to be able to stay in supportive housing. All this “ITS JUST LIKE PRISON. To be fair we really don't know 100% that he has been off the internet. It is possible that he has been on the internet all this time. Only he is using some tard home shared computer that is in a supervised public area that all the tards have to share and it is some kind of parental controlled "read only" setup where you can browse the internet but not make any user accounts anywhere.

Ironic. After decades of deluding himself into thinking he's the next Walt Disney with a shitty recolor, and thinking he has the power to control people over the internet, Chris finally realizes that his entire existence up until this point was a sham.
