Putting aside that so many furries live in a though bubble where they actually believe transwomen are women. There was also quite a few openly male dudes who pestered him with lines like "or boyfriend". They all so thirsty they ignore the basics of attraction whenever it suits them. Took a break for a week while the latest DDoS put the Farms back behind Onion-net and boy oh boy did Furry Weekend Atlanta seem to dredge up some bad blood once the con doors closed (and was a roaring success by their metrics for breaking 10,000 attendees, go figure) - There's a number of progressive/kink-centric/anarchy-leaning furries whom are bitching across Furry Twitter about the presence of con attendees both in fursuit and not who were wearing tacticool milspec cosplays.
Apparently it triggered many of them into turning into gatekeepers - ironic, considering there were diaperfurs at the con and I'm pretty sure nobody there batted an eye or peeped up about their presence.
At least somebody has some self-awareness and knows the ABDLs live in glass houses and shouldn't throw stones.

I think that's just the latest trend. Each subgroup in the furry fandom always had their share of degenerates and tards, the numbers just fluctuate. Also who gets to decide who's a tard? The average furry? The social media mob? It's easy to spot a trend there while the vast majority of people doesn't give a fuck. Only takes a few loud white knights to start an anti-$stuff movement.
Years ago the fandom started to hate on cop-furs and GSD fursuits once that #BLM crap became big. Right now it's trend to hate tac-gear cuz of some shootings. Who knows what trend we'll have this summer or fall?

I've noticed this increasingly more often too. A lot of them are just harmless autists who just aren't cut for active combat, but the you'll also stumble across the occasional milfur account on Twitter and find that they have posted multiple commissioned works of their armed femboy fursona. Curiously, the latter is more susceptible to right-wing grifting than the former.
