The larger issue here isn’t that the Farms has a bad reputation, it’s that this site hasn’t committed any crimes and shouldn’t be forced offline (by services that are being paid for, at that!) as if it had. If you can force a site offline simply for being seen as distasteful, then you can do that for anything. Kiwi Farms happens to be first on the list, but the important thing is there is a list.

If this website has to achieve some sort of ethical “legitimacy” in the eyes of the internet at large in order to survive, all that does is reinforce the notion that reputation should be the deciding factor in what has permission to stay online, not law.
