Anyone else surprised that this thread hasn’t had more traffic/attention, even for being in prospering grounds still?
Currently I'd say since this hasn't been cleared for the main site, our reach with thread has been stunted. However one simple look at Earl Dubes self dubbed main rival Theblackbowser's channel, you'll see this guy has a lot of interest in terms of people watching him. I'd say this guy is gonna be easier to get more mainstream than cyraxx is. This thread isn't the end all be all of him, but I do agree cronkle. This is guy really is the spitting definition of a lolcow. Earl fits the very definition of lolcow so well that you can honestly make
him the new standard for a quintessential lolcow, but that might be me being too bullish on that front. Either way, when this thread gets cleared for the main site and the scrutiny that follows are quite certain.
Didn't this all start from him calling smokey a pedo? Something like that anyway.
Not necessarily, The beef started with the mods of Smokey's since deleted discord server.
To summarize(as best I can),
Earl was a member of the old Smokey Discord for a while (I think a year to be exact). He would often be seen in the venting channel (every stable discord has one of these) ranting and ranting about weird shit. He would often target the transvestites, with some off-color jokes about being weird or stalkerish. Then in one call, a war vet was confiding his feelings about what he saw in the war, effectively feeling emotion about things he was trained not to feel emotion about. I don't know why he chose to do this in a discord call and not a professional therapist but that's his prerogative, Bowser then said aloud in response to that, "I support veteran suicide". Effectively telling a war vet to commit suicide. Obviously, after that, the drama escalated. Before Earl was banned he posted a fantastic rant that he alerted the entire server to called "The Kiwi Farms 2.0 rant" where he compared the discord server to this very website in terms of how bad it's gotten because one of the mods told Earl to take his meds. A bit later or just around the same time the ring leader of the mods (Known as Kairos) decided to raid Earl's discord server. During this, the all-important joke question was asked. "What kind of porn do you watch?" Earl being a sped responded by effectively admitting that he likes to watch those silly tawawawawa "cawtoons" Then things got out of hand from there. A couple of videos made by Earl here and a couple of "leaked" mod calls with Earl there. In addition to all of this going on a server to specifically fuck with Earl was made named the "trap house". During this time Earl was referred to often as a "lolcalf" highlighting his status as an up-and-coming but not yet recognized lolcow. During this is when most of the internet started seeing Earl make accusations of Smokey being the ringleader of his trolls and called him a pedo.
To make it very clear smokey was aware of Bowser but didn't give any shits about trolling him or anything. He only started caring when Earl made those statements about him. Throughout all stages of this Earl was the one who kept poking the hornet's nest, and Smokey's community just hated the guy, he is just the stubborn prick who wouldn't take any accountability.
And that is as best as I can summarize everything before the Kiwi tapes restream. Don't forget Bowser has a lot of lore to him before joining Smokey's and that will eventually get uncovered. But to say the least, trying to summarize this all to you folks has been very tiring. There isn't a solid timeline of events relating to Earl's activities before becoming known, with some solid stuff. Not to mention during all of the above, the groping, and his Reddit activities were uncovered.
TLDR; Earl's beef started with the mods, he then started to go after Smokey for his mods doing their jobs.
