The new Mortal Kombat game's title has already been announced to be Mortal Kombat 1, so they screwed that up

"Recently, there is a cinema theater in Roppongi and I watched Super Mario, a wonderful IP entertainment content, I found. I played the Super Mario games 30 years ago, and it was so intense. A lovable IP can survive 30, 50, or even 100 years. That's something that we would like to make investment into for sustainable growth"
You almost had that with Crash Bandicoot, dummies. Try not yeeting your franchises out the window after a few entries.

One of the rare moments it's acceptable to be fair to Sony: They kinda didn't have a say in the matter. They published the games, sure, but the full ownership of both Crash and Spyro were under Universal Interactive (later to be known as Vivendi Universal after a merger). That's why both franchises went multi-plat after their original PS1 trilogies to rather....mixed results.

Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and Silent Hill among other things?

Ironically the N64 flopporama analog stick is serviceable and can be maintained, which can't be said for today's $200+ price point """""elite""""" version gamepads that don't use hal-effect gimbals.
The thing is you won't see Hall effect analogs in any 1st party controller from any of the big three, because garbage potentiometer sticks = planned obsolescence = more money in the long run. Be glad that there's a 3rd party market with controllers that use those analogs, at least for PC gaming.

The first entries in both the Tomb Raider and Resident Evil franchises also appeared on the Saturn, and both franchises were PC regulars from the beginning. Resident Evils 2 and 3 were ported to the Dreamcast and Gamecube, and Code: Veronica was Dreamcast-exclusive for a while. Not to mention the first REmake and Zero being GC-exclusive. The first Silent Hill was the only one that was Playstation-exclusive. SH2 got ported to the Xbox like, a few months after its PS2 launch, and the PC about a year after. SH3 got ported to the PC about a year after its PS2 launch.

Also, TR IV and Chronicles have been released on the Dreamcast as well in addition. Still, the three franchises were never considered huge Sony exclusives. My point was these were games never published nor developed by Sony themselves, but were only in the first three PlayStation consoles (also crossplatforming with other consoles as well as PC and Mac) as they were heavily marketed during the 90s and 2000s.

I think its really just the one chinese company that makes them, Gulikit. They had to design new sticks to fit the standard stick profile. I've been using their King Kong 2 Pro for a few months and its great, works on Switch natively and has modes for Xinput and Direct Input as well. The only thing is that the gyro lags when its futher away from the Switch. Just got their joycon sticks and those are also great. It's really annoying that controllers are now upwards of 100 bucks and break even faster, I WISH one of the big three had the balls to license the hall effect sticks and use them, but it will never happen.

How long will Sony finally realize their mistakes? Or is that more of a dumb question.
