Vance is a Stanceless Pussy Who Refuses to Pick a Side.

It should be noted that this is arguably Vance’s most pathetic moment on the show to date. That includes the night he tried to manipulate Letty against Jon and all of his chigger antics. I’m going to try and present all of their speech as objectively as possible with some comments here and there because even I cannot handle some of the retarded shit Vance said during this interaction. Vance was the aggressor in this conversation, as in he was met with silence multiple times when he tried to “apologize” so he tried to lure a forgiveness out of Letty. She did not bite. This entire conversation came off as Vance trying to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to be an asshole to Letty while still being the nice guy everybody loves. You can decide if he pulled it off or not.
(Didn’t catch the first part of the conversation, probably them talking about the freeloaders) Letty begins to talk about how everyone was drunk and being mean to her. Vance claims that Hassle wasn’t being serious when he told Letty nobody wanted her around. She then says that that cannot be true because he was only targeting her out of the other fish, highlighting the toilet water incident as proof. She’s upset because apparently the producers said she couldn’t fight back at Hassle in any way including retaliating with toilet water and non violent means. Vance chuckles at this and Vance tries to claim he got his head shaved by Hassle. Letty corrects him to say it was Josie. Vance has no comeback for this.
Vance says that he thinks Hassle would mess with him and Josie to the same degree as Letty. Letty doesn’t seem to be convinced. Letty says that the only way she avoided getting shaved was because she stepped away from Hassle with the electric razor. Vance laughs and says she could go bald with him and Letty agrees.
Vance claims that he isn’t against Letty and that he wants him and her in the final two and that he “doesn’t know what else he can do to prove that at this point.” Letty says he was mean to her by saying she deserved the toilet water in her face. Vance says he was just “fucking around.” And that when he says stuff like that it’s not meant to be a fuck you, it’s a jab and that she’s meant to jab back. Letty says what Hassle did was way too far and that when she was fucking with fluids she made sure not to throw it on anybody or get it on anybodies personal belongings. Vance asks if he truly did say anything and Letty responds with an annoyed yes, saying that Vance told her it was karma. Vance remembers that he did say this.
TTS comes on saying “Vance fuck off you piece of shit.” Vance responds with a weak “hey man relax.” and is then interrupted by mariachi music. Letty says that everyone was talking shit about her and for some reason Vance responds with “well they were just trying to get Chris some pussy with that girl.” No, I am not kidding, he actually said that in response, it made no sense. TTS comes on saying to not trust Vance or Josie and that they are both in desperation mode. Vance says he could leave today and be fine. He wants to win, but he’s not desperate to win. TTS says Vance got bullied by Mauro, and Vance is confused as to how Mauro bullied him.
Letty goes back to the toilet water being thrown at her. Vance says the freeloaders don’t care what happens to anybody, and asks how he’s a piece of shit after a TTS calls him one. Awkward silence ensues. Vance breaks it asking if she’s “Good for real.” And says that he doesn’t want her to be fucked up. Letty says she’s fine, but she is a little fucked up. Vance asks how she feels that way. Letty replies saying the same shit that she’s been saying for the past fifteen minutes, but somehow it went over Vance’s head the first eight times. Vance tries to comfort her, emphasis on tries, but she says it’s alright and that it doesn’t matter. She says that she feels like she doesn’t have any friends or allies. Vance responds with a signature “yeah” and that at this point people are only worried about themselves. Vance says he never faulted her for anything she’s done on the show, and that he says while people are being mean it doesn’t mean that nobody cares, it’s just high stakes and a competition.
Vance asks if Letty thinks he’s trying to fuck with her. She says she doesn’t know and Vance swears that he isn’t. He says at this point there’s nothing to hide and nothing he could try to do. Letty doesn’t respond, either out of annoyance or just not caring. After a few minutes of silence Vance says he asked she was good because he cares. Letty responds with a resounding “ok.” clearly hinting that she wants to be left alone. Vance says it’s a game and that he doesn’t want people to be fucked up, but to succeed in the game you have to do dirty things. Yes, those were his actual words, excellent comforting skills Vance. Silence ensues for ten minutes after, then Letty goes downstairs to make something to eat.
