I think the most amusing part of this apology is that it won't work. Whatever he and Anissa hope to achieve, whether it's polishing up their tarnished past, smoothing the way for clout chasing in LA, getting a higher class of creators for their next boxing event - it won't work. There's a saying "never trust a convert", and even if people don't consciously realize it, they'll always look on that convert as suspect.

Ian and Anissa are failed climbers; failed because they didn't learn the most important lesson about LA - parroting the "correct" things matters a lot less than having money and influence.
