I think one issue is that Hololive is a Japanese company and all their recent investors are Japanese. So they are putting more effort in the Japanese side of things since it makes the most profit out of the two sides.

I think losing Coco also had a negative effect on EN, at least from what I understand she was mostly the one that pushed to have a Hololive En. Coco was also dual lingual so she probably acted as a pseudo manager to tard wrangle the talents. It seems like Kiara attempted to take her place but can't seem to do it as well. It's clear EN either needs more or better management.

It was disappointing to see how lethargic the other talents are about streaming, it seems like burnout has hit the EN side like a ton of bricks likely due to the demoralization going on given the lack of support from Cover.

Having a 3rd Gen would do alot to motivate the girls into streaming again, however Cover is probably hesitant too since there is clearly a lack of staff for EN.
