where?
hardly remember indy 4 but pretty sure there wasn't anything like that either with the skull.
I got to say, after seeing those retarded "hur punch Nazis like Indiana Jones" memes for the better part of a decade seeing Indy get cannibalized by those same types is the cherry on this sundae.

https://archive.ph/axlW3Reports indicate the parks and the Galactic Starcruiser cost some $2 billion to build.
I'm pretty sure forcing criminals into an endless star wars larp with no windows counts as cruel and unusual punishmentHow much did that thing cost? Per the Daily Mail, maybe up to $2 billion for the parks in CA and FL, and the hotel?

Assuming an even split between parks, if California bore the brunt of design (since it opened first), and that's maybe 1/3 to 1/2 overall cost, the hotel was probably $300-500 million? Probably way off, but jebus.
Hell hole with no windows? It'll make a great prison for DeSantis.
Aside from eating Chicom shit, Nixon had been one of the better if naive as fuck U.S. Presidents since Coolidge. which leads to the "Imperials weren't the bad guys" Star Wars fan sect. Given the documented and recorded atrocities the communist Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army had done including liquidating several million South Vietnamese and re-educating tens of millions more. Aside from skull-fucking the North Vietnam to the negotiation table, ending U.S. direct involvement in the war other providing South Vietnam ammunition and parts and iirc air support. What great fucking evil atrocity had Nixon done, and killing communists doesn't count?
It's good.Already read the classics like the Thrawn trilogy and Dark empire, i've heard I, Jedi
There are three things called "The Last Jedi".and The Last Jedi are pretty good if anyone can confirm,
You can't go wrong with Matthew Stover. Shatterpoint is pretty much Heart of Darkness but with Mace Windu as the main character. Traitor is very good but it's a part of a long series (as in: 19 books long). Shadows of Mindor was already recommended.but always open to suggestions.
I don't get how they'd rather shut it down than make sane prices that a middle income family could go in and pay 20% more than a regular hotel in the area. I remember the prices were so crazy you would pay the same to fly to western europe at a 4 star hotel meals included for double the amount of days. How much did that thing cost? Per the Daily Mail, maybe up to $2 billion for the parks in CA and FL, and the hotel?

Because they made retarded decisions every step of the way when planning the project. It only has 100 rooms and is basically just a windowless featureless building where the 'value' comes from the LARPing failed actors they hire to entertain the guests. There's too much cost involved in running it for it to be cheap. The rooms are also tiny and low-quality so it would fail if they tried to market it as a hotel. Also it is not walkable from the rest of the attractions and is not on any of the bus routes they operate so would face other monetary/logistical hurdles (security checks etc.) if they wanted to have guests coming/going all day.I don't get how they'd rather shut it down than make sane prices that a middle income family could go in and pay 20% more than a regular hotel in the area.
It's amazing how Disney is able to turn gold to shit. I forgot how bad the rooms looked with a shitty led screen rather than a window.Because they made retarded decisions every step of the way when planning the project. If they had just invested in an actual luxury Star Wars themed hotel it would probably have done well. I really want to know how they came to the decision that what fans really want is to be locked in a windowless room and forced to do improv roleplay with cosplayers for an entire weekend.
Largely what @Feathers McGraw said. The low room count and high staffing needs made it expensive, especially since much of the staff had to go apply makeup before working (and then remove it after, shortening their shifts). I also believe face characters like those who need makeup, get paid significantly more.I don't get how they'd rather shut it down than make sane prices that a middle income family could go in and pay 20% more than a regular hotel in the area
I think Disney still hasn't cracked the code on Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and it's driving the Imagineers to make dumb decisions to try to one-up Universal.that what fans really want is to be locked in a windowless room and forced to do improv roleplay with cosplayers for an entire weekend.
because some of those "fans" are retarded consoomers, just look over here: https://kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojh...ion/threads/disney-adults-disneymania.150109/I really want to know how they came to the decision that what fans really want is to be locked in a windowless room and forced to do improv roleplay with cosplayers for an entire weekend.

For those of us who followed the thread (and @Creep3r 's updates about the hotel) in real time, this comes as no surprise. As reported in the Disney thread, the hotel shuts down at the end of September
this in particularThe embracing of LARPING has to be one of the biggest indicators that people making decisions don't understand fandoms at all.
