Yeah, but he used to be an SJW-artist, now, he's been demoted to merely being an "SJW-henchman".Now? Dobson has explicitly referred to himself as an SJW for years.

Then I guess we'll be dealing with another historical whitewashing (colorwashing?) in the name of PC. Kind of like how they cast Jamie Foxx as Little John in the new Robin Hood movie.

That's completely fucking ridiculous unless it's a deliberate comedy or some shit.

To be honest it doesn't really matter as long as they keep the movie fun and don't try and turn a kids film into a political soapbox.Whichever studio is doing that reboot, did they not see how Ghostbusters (2016) turned out?
According to what I read so far (I hope they are just rumors though), they are just going to change the nazis with commies and call it a day. They are also saying it's a sequel-reboot which I don't understand how could that possibly work. Anyway, it's a mess and if a big franchise like GhostBusters already tried this approach and failed miserably, I really think a movie with a smaller fanbase WON'T (edit) do any better.Isn't The Rocketeer set during the early years of WWII? I generally don't have a problem with remakes starring minority or female leads but for fucks sake a black female lead makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for the setting.

As for Dobs, we all know he'll jump ship whenever someone says anything about "female lead". If only someone would do a Clockwork Orange with female leads, that would be interesting... and by "interesting" I mean porn. BDSM, gorey and rapey porn.

Athough I might be triggered if they cast a sassy black woman to play Jareth in the upcoming Labyrinth remake.
Well...Didn't you know medieval Europe was full of black people? I hear they were even kangz and shiet.
Stay fucking salty @Gothicserpent. I relish your "dumb" ratings.
Well...

When you dig through medieval art, you'll sooner or later find depictions of black people here and there. They were certainly not unknown, but they were incredibly rare. Though it does depend, in places like southern France or Italy, at hubs of commerce, you'd spot a few trying to buy and sell stuff, I'd assume.
How much you wanna bet some numbnut is gonna shriek "But he wasn't written as a white person either! It says nowhere in the book he is white!"...Historical precedence aside, Little John was never written as a black man and I guarantee you even if that's the route they take no character will ever questions his presence, character, or motivations because of his skin color.
Eh, he's not the first black man in a Robin Hood movie.
But you know those dumbarses will claim he's English despite no attempt at the accent whatsoever.
I really need to sit down and watch that movie again.A comedy.
