Is this some new shit? I haven't bought a console game in years but I remember them being the same price at launch as the pc version. So console games cost more, you get jewed for multiplayer, and none of the new systems have any games? Sign me up.

Depends, Steam takes the same cut as Playstation/Xbox/Apple App store most of the time which is 30%, Epic I believe takes 12%.so less than the rest.

You're forgetting that this is the fanbase that already thinks that GT7 is:

- the most realistic sim on the market
- somehow, both the easiest and hardest sim on the market
- has the best car list/customization on the market
- has the best visuals on the market (everything outside of cars looks like a ps3 game)

All for a game that lacks the majority of simcade features, a proper physics engine, car classes etc let alone actual sim features. And they brigade other fanbases with this info

They will absolutely run with this. Before this trailer even dropped, when this movie was in development, I had its existence thrown in my face multiple times while recruiting/discussing in GT groups.

They'll absolutely gobble this up.

In a sense, this is how the Sony fanbase has always operated - hanging onto their exclusives for dear life as if to validate their existence, despite being dwarfed by their contemporaries first- or third-party.

I know these memes have been posted from front to back, but the literal propaganda being used for the sake of putting this in PlayStation would make younger self look confused and disturbed.

This showcase makes me really worried about how they will have the gall to continue this to make the PS6, or a literal copy of the Nintendo Switch while ignoring that the Vita was a thing.

EDIT: spent a few minutes actually watching the presentation. That music is distractingly bad, though, and I shut it off pretty quick. Shit like this presentation makes me thankful that I stay away from consoles outside of older stuff and maybe a Nintendo game every year or two. Every time I think I know how utterly dogshit the state of this industry is, I take one quick glance at whatever Sony or Microsoft is doing and immediately kick myself for not expecting even worse from them.

No black women play vidya, no one else wants to play as a black women, no one making these games are black women. Why the fuck do they keep pushing this shit?

Two reasons.
1. Black women are higher up on the totem pole of oppression. Just below trannies. Companies like Sony know that nobody wants to play as a disgusting tranny so they have to find another way to raise their ESG scores. That is where black female protags come along.
2. Cuckolds and Shitlibs love playing as black women. All you have to do is read the reviews of games with a black female protag to see the near fetishized praise and endorsements.

It really is amazing how many games showed off in that Presentation are multiplats. Other then Helldivers 2, The Talos Principle II, Ghostrunner II, Immortals of Aveum, Neva, The Plucky Squire, Towers of Aghasba, Ultros, Arizona Sunshine 2, and the new Cat Quest game all already have Steam pages up.

IGN has confirmed that GranBlue Fantasy Relink and Assassin's Creed Mirage are coming to PC (the latter of which Microsoft has also confirmed is coming to Xbox).

Teardown and Tower of Fantasy are already available on Steam.

Microsoft have already confirmed that Metal Gear Solid Delta, Dragons Dogma II, Alan Wake II, and Marathon are coming to Xbox, so they are also most likely coming to PC (Marathon's twitter account has already confirmed that the game is coming to PC).

There were, what, three or four games produced by Playstation Studios developers? One of them we already know is coming to PC. Pretty much all of them except Spiderman only had CGI trailers to show and they were nothing to write home about, and even Spiderman II wasn't all that exciting (also, going by history, its probably getting a PC port eventually). This entire presentation was an embarrassment for Sony.
