If Linus and Yvonne were smart "Emily" should be the thing to push them to sell the company.

I think it was insane not to take the $100 million (some of it stock though) Linus claimed was offered. Especially with the declining viewership @mandatorylurk mentioned.

Maybe you can keep growing the company and make more, but that's generational wealth you're turning down and a bird in hand and all that.

I once had the misfortune of being a victim of violent crime. The city paid for my therapy through a charity.

About six months in to a supposed year of therapy, the charity pivoted to service only women and trans. I was offered to "stay on the books" but the therapist was bugging out.

Essentially they wanted to keep getting the city money and not provide services because I am a man.

I declined this offer.

There were signs that the charity was going to shit, they had "shopping days" that consisted of female only clothing in their back yard.

The therapist was fantastic, the charity was bugfuck nuts.

Sorry Harbinger, you replied while I was posting. The Therapist had no interest in serving transgenders. She got me back into driving a car, but said that I still had work to do to get past my aversion.

Since it got broken up, I still hate driving a car. I got pulled out and had the shit beat out of me. I have facial scarring that I have to look at in the mirror every day. THAT she did a fantastic job with. At first I grew a big stupid mustache to cover the scarring, and she flat out told me it looked fucking stupid, and just covered the problem.
She moved out of state.

I still hate driving. I wonder if she could have got me through that, or if that's just permanent.

Specifically, the guy yanked me out of my car at a stoplight, was punching the shit out of me, and then just walked off. He was never caught. The cops were bored while taking the report.

While I generally like LTT's content they are clearly falling behind in some ways. I think the best evidence for it is how long it took for them to cover the Flipper Zero, and then their coverage of it was rather lame. They're becoming too "entry level" on anything except benchmarks, and they're just sort of moving into to similar levels of analysis of Gamer's Nexus. And now video card upgrades are not nearly as worth it as much anymore with the ridiculous prices, so people are probably less interested in specific cards year by year.

Cyka, it was a Mexican. I didn't have my door locked. His stupid gaudy rings were what did the most damage to my face.

I got fired the next day, I was working at Target. I was literally on my way to work when it happened.
Oh, and it was Dec 23rd, so I got fired right before Christmas day.

Before that, I never once felt the need to lock the doors of my car while driving. Now, I'll never drive unlocked again.

They actually identified the guy, but said he moved back to mexico, so that was it. The detective was a huge bitch.

And that's why my feed has remained the same for years. I still see channels in my sub feed that I never watch, bet they're bitching about the "algorithm" too. No, its either I got bored or you fell off, that simple. I'm not obligated to watch your shit. I do it because I have a lot of busy work in my day. Rarely do I sit down to watch a video- that's for someone like Max0r who actually earns it, gives me that good colombian snow dust in each hyper edited video, and then leaves me the fuck alone until the next one, no begging and shit.

Damn, I go offline for a while due to IRL shite and what do I come back to? One of the only ~2-3 likeable people from LTT is now a tranny, although I'm not too surprised that it's Anthony. I wonder how this will affect the LTT channel as a whole, considering that their newer "hypebeast"-type content with all the stupid fucking thumbnails and screaming is really only watched by teenagers. Any sane adult will probably unsub from them, if they aren't doing it as we speak, not to mention that parents will probably keep their kids away if Tranthony keeps appearing in videos.

I noped out after about two or three videos.

The first video I saw of his was the one where he took down that infamous build from The Verge, but in hindsight that was like shooting fish in a barrel.

There was another one about those Linux-on-a-USB-stick things that promise to make an old computer as good as new. I think Tranthony may have been in the that one. Vaguely interesting, but others have done a better job of covering this topic (such as Computer Clan).

Then I noticed how these videos were basically one great big long ad for all this other shit, and then my YT feed ended up being filled with every third video being Linus pulling some faggy face with obvious clickbait plastered over it.

Linus is a try-hard.
