I think the narcissism has something to do with it as well. It's a common phenomenon for narcissists to become enraged with jealousy whenever their partner accomplishes something or is being celebrated/focused on. Most troons have narcissistic personality traits, and I think this is definitely one of them. It's no coincidence that when the wife gets pregnant, aka the most female thing you can possibly do, the husband suddenly troons out and starts skinwalking her. Despite all of their anti-police posturing in the past, it's impossible for trannies to be anti-cop because they are a fascist movement which relies mainly on silencing, intimidating, and threatening dissenters. Eh, it's a twofer. They ended up with a white/pink/blue Spider-Gwen a decade ago, obviously as a way to differentiate spider-woman from the red-and-black spiderman (and because blue-and-pink "bisexual lighting" was really popular at the time);

Subsequently the twitter troons were latching onto that choice in colours and became the social justice darlings to appeal to. Separately the "having to hide your true self to your loved ones before coming out to them as a superhero" has been used to draw parallels to gay coming out for ages in comics/superhero stuff (like X-Men and Buffy).
In this implied scenario I guess Gwen is trans and accepted by her Dad and then separately has to come out to him as a superhero in a way that draws parallels to the trans coming out experience to underscore the implication. This "confirms" to the twitter troons that Gwen is trans (or at least one specific version of Gwen, given that version of Spiderman isn't Peter Parker, and there was another Gwen Stacy who had kids with the Green Goblin) without actually having to do anything specific, and she could still just be a normie who had some trans allyship stuff.
It's kinda like how in Frozen there was a "gay family" in the form of Oaken, who waves to his family in the sauna

and the implication is that the man in the middle is Oaken's gay husband, although he could just be his brother or cousin or something. Nothing's stated explicitly.
I'd be interested to see if the version of Spiderman that's currently screening in China or Arabic countries still contains that "protect trans kids" flag, although it's a relatively minor background detail.

Speaking as someone on the spectrum (sorry to powerlevel here but it's relevant) there is something that fundamentally pisses me off about people within the millennial or Gen Z generation, diagnosed or not, acting like they're paragons or primary representatives.
