You got that reversed. The first two seasons of Tales from the Cryptkeeper aired on ABC before Disney bought it, while the final season aired on CBS, whose Saturday morning lineup had been taken over by Nelvana, who make the show. Then Viacom bought CBS and put Nickelodeon shows on, which obviously meant the entire Nelvana lineup was shitcanned. And don't forget that it was cancelled after the second season had already aired on CBS' Saturday Morning block due to some standards and practices regulated onto children's television during the early-to-mid 90s, and was only brought back for a third season five years later on ABC's One Saturday Morning block before it got cancelled for good.
The ironic exception to this was Franklin, which debuted on CBS and jumped to Nick Jr. where it ran for many more years, and at one point even aired on the CBS block. Even more ironic, many of Nelvana's Nick Jr. shows would run on CBS until they dropped the block for DiC shows.
