Steven Crowder / LouderWithCrowder / @scrowder / The "Change my Mind" meme guy - Talk show host who burns all bridges, even with his own wife

What do you guys think the first "tell" was that Crowder was apeshit? For me, it was when he debated Rogan about weed, you could see it slip through the mask.

God Crowder was such a dick. Seeing how he treats his employees, he has no desire to see them flourish whatsoever.

What an unhinged incel. I can't wait to see what's in store for Crowder coming up,

although...

you know, as much as I hate crowder and revel in his quick spiral into the dustbin of hacks like milo and sargon of akkad and others, the idea that one person (alex jones) can be so unperson-ed that they're not allowed to even appear on another youtube channel is frightening.

it's almost like, "donald trump is such a threat we're not going to allow you to show his lies" is the next step

That is a good example. Much more recently, this gives insight into the installation of the "be quiet" button that Dave mentioned in his interview with Malice. Crowder spazzed out at Gerald just only a few minutes into the show.

Right after 2:30

You can see how high strung and spazzy he is even with a camera on him, but just imagine off the air. Sheesh.

He acts like an incel. You know what I meant.
Even if he acts like one I don't know if incel is the right term....

An incel is resentful because they will never get to touch vagina

Steven Crowder seems resentful because he has had to touch vagina.

Is Resentcel a more approprite term for this fig?

If anything, I was under the impression of Ben Shapiro debating college kids about politics was more amusing than when Crowder did it. The thing is, it's not hard to do this since most college aged children know that they are getting indoctrinated and just do not care because they are looking for a GOTCHA! moment.

With Crowder, I don't think he grasps that you are supposed to treat it as it is amusing, yet he takes it seriously as if it is a real job to do. If anything, it just says a lot that Shapiro's attempt at joke making is more funny than when Crowder does it, and he supposedly was a former stand up comedian.

A lot of it is poise and attitude. Crowder comes off as a total jock bro (because he is) while Shapiro is this nerdy Melvin fella. Despite what people might want to admit, Shapiro is a pretty intelligent guy (but very conventional) and pretty quick-witted at times. Shapiro is actually funnier, too, believe it or not, because Crowder's humor is more about HIM and ME and BEING LOUD and SCREAMING LIKE A PEWDIEPIE FAN PLAYING MINECRAFT AND ALL MY DIAMONDS ARE GONE NOOOO shit. Shapiro is far less autistic and is more just biting jabs, and thus he's way better and funnier doing it. Crowder just comes off like a jackass that has something to prove, and it was impossible to raise a good point to him because he's so dense, and some of those college students actually did. I can't imagine who Crowder's audience was given how cringey he is.

Haven't tuned in to Crowder in a while, but is it just me or is this opening sketch (about 1:00 in) with Alex Jones like, really really bad?

I was never a huge fan of Crowder's sketches, but I usually at least got what they were aiming for.
Have his sketches ever been good? I only watched Crowder to get info about political issues not for his comedy. I can't even think of one time Crowder has made me laugh.

I agree on Walsh and Shapiro in that they largely market themselves in a serious way, so when they do something comedic, it's funny. Crowder is just such a try-hard that he constantly has to be in some insane costume or basically screaming EVERYONE REMEMBER I'M A COMEDIAN, WE'RE DOING COMEDY HERE! so that it sucks the life out of all his jokes.

I never really found him funny, not a fan of that type of humor in the first place, but they seemed like he put effort into production of them... a lot of his parodies and stuff were grandiose to the point of cringe but this just feels lazy.

Like Alex Jones is a funny guy just doing his thing, but here they managed to make him totally unfunny. Actually impressive in a way.

I thought he did "comedy" ironically for the longest time. Like, it was a tool he used to sell his show since a dry political piece was a dime a dozen. Kind of realized the type of person we were dealing with when he started complaining about how hard he worked on the skits.

It's like Doug Walker. The only people who like the skits are all ready subscribed to whatever cult of personality those two provide.

So I take it Steven Crowder never opened up the divorce case and dropped the docs. Did Hillary and her legal team cave under this threat? Or did Steven successfully call their bluff about leaking video and documents?

At the end of the day Crowder has a much larger dedicated platform than Hillary. Irrespective of what evidence is on the table Steven showed he is willing to take it all and expose everything else about the other side, and spin the narrative to his benefit. Blackmail averted.

Not sure this take makes sense. Crowder's subscribers have done a nosedive on YouTube and he's lost around 100,000 at this point. His shows views are down on Rumble as well. He basically tanked his entire brand because he refused to listen to judge's orders not to talk about the case and instead insisted on making that original video blaming his wife and accusing Candace Owens of blackmail. It was only in response to him breaking agreement that family showed the Ring video, thus tanking his brand.

If victory is losing your subscribers, moving over to a crappier platform (Rumble) with one fifth the following, and getting worse deals in divorce (I can't imagine using his YouTube channel to smear his wife will look good to a judge), then heck yeah, my dude is winning. Divorced dad without kids who has already peaked and his career is going down. Total conservative victory!
