I vaguely remember him talking on Rogan that he's a nominal Canadian because his mother worked in wardrobe at Just For Laughs in Montreal.

That wouldn't exactly qualify as a life of privilege without another factor.

Let me put it like this. Youtube has had over 15 years to entrench itself. It's got popular creators and a video for just about everything, not to mention just a stable platform. Rumble's brand is where all the banned nigger spam bots go. Not saying it's true, but that's what it is. Until you have more adoption by popular creators, music artists, and communities, it's as a hot potato as 4chan.

He always says this, hides on rumble for a few months till the ban is lifted, then it'd buisness as usual. And he was at one strike before, seems like they removed it to only now strike him again. He's a spoiled child, acting like the rules that everyone else have to follow don't apply to his abusive ass.

I'm surprised someone else remembered this. An interesting detail is that Potholer and Crowder fought about interview time and then Crowder just scheduled it for a time when the guy couldn't do it because I think he was in Australia and then accused him of ducking the debate. It bothered me because I actually wanted to see them debate but then Crowder never did, so it made me think he was actually a bit scared of Potholer.

Paying a tranny for sex allegations
Someone cited this earlier in the thread but couldn't recall details. A dude named Lucas Santo Bouge accused Crowder of soliciting him for sex. It's mostly been scrubbed now.

Another thing I don't think I saw mentioned was the Socialism is Evil Change My Mind where Steven got wrecked by a college student.

17:00 - Crowder can feel his losing, gets panicked, becomes increasingly aggressive and interrupts Yousef everytime he's making a good point. He accuses Yousef of "talking in paragraphs"
17:40 - Crowder says the kid is being a dick because he said libertarianism is based on an autistic fantasy
17:50 - Starts insulting the kid's hair
19:00-22:00 - Steven keeps asking him for examples of things, then interrupts when Yousef is going to respond

Every time he gets a strike on YouTube he makes a huge stink about it and says "this is war" "fight like hell" and whatever else and then... he sells his mugs HARD until his ban is up and goes back to normal. A couple of years ago he was always going on about how he was going to sue YouTube but nothing ever came of it. Yes, YouTube's policies are gay, but Crowder does pretty clearly violate them most of the time.

This isn't the only video like that. I remember thinking this was a huge missed opportunity for Crowder because he finally stepped outside of his right-wing talking head bubble of 10 or so rotating guests and did Nogla's thing, which could have gotten him in front of an entire different audience. But that audience didn't see Steven Crowder, they just saw some weird character? What was the point? It wasn't funny, didn't make any sense.

Crowder did the same thing often hosting ENTIRE SHOWS as a character--Trump, Bernie, whatever.

In this one he does even the interviews as Trump. His Trump impression isn't very good, but if this is the show I'm recalling, it's Gavin trying to talk about some of the Proud Boys being sent to jail for years, and Steven's just making a big joke of it the entire time. Gavin is clearly fed up and wondering what is going on.

Despite labeling himself a comedian, Crowder's comedic instincts are very, very bad, and I'm wondering how much of the funny bits every come from him. I've noticed that if I look at their show these days they are recycling tons of old sketches, which makes me think his current team isn't capable of writing/producing stuff that they used to. As the post above noted, a ton of people have left.

I tried watching a couple of Louder With Crowder episodes with my husband years ago (my idea, not his). None of it was funny aside from lefties tardraging, and it was awkward, cringe and/or uncomfortable more than a few times. IIRC, Crowder was giving a speech about how wives owe their husbands sex and can't turn them down outright whether they like it or not and that it's the wife's fault if the husband cheats, when my husband suddenly said he was done with the whole show while I was just taking in the audacity of Steven's bullshit.

When I was 17, I really wanted to get into Steven Crowder. A lot of my friends were. My problem was that his content was really boring and uninteresting. He really is just generic, internet, alt-light sort of content. I think Ben Shapiro is funnier tbh.

They both have their moments, but I wouldn't say either are really that funny. They are charismatic enough to make news less boring but imo Crowder's "crowd" held the show together. Crowder by himself would be like watching a personality disorder on display and utterly dreadful. His act requires other people to play off of to be entertaining even in the slightest so it should be no surprise that his superiority complex is where it is. I've mostly stopped watching the news really anyway because almost none of it can be taken too seriously (the point of news). So I'm spared all the filler that is out there now.

I liked watching Change My Mind. It's always funny when morons get riled up, and it did shed some light on the College Cult that's been allowed to flourish. I tried to watch his regular show but it really wasn't anything special. He has that manic tryhard energy that makes it hard to listen to. Everyone else around him was pretty cool. Then they started disappearing.
