Metal Gear

Something tells me the inevitable DSP playthough won't match the majesty of the original:

This is the thing that I find hilarious. I'm seeing Kojima fanboys going crazy in comments about Delta how "No Kojima, no buy!"

Like, they don't even fucking realize Kojima wanted out of Metal Gear Solid for fucking ever and they still scream and pout that he isn't involved. It's such a fucking cult and it is so fucking pathetic and it really says a lot about how they all really feel about Death Stranding if they still want him back with Metal Gear Solid IMO
Yeah, I mean I understand the series is the guy's brainchild but he has been batting below average with Metal Gear since 4, even though I enjoyed the later games, I don't see how a fresh team and design leads could do anything but help.

And in terms of writing let us not forget that Rising was mostly written by somebody else and was way better thanost of Kojima's dreck.

Nothing will ever top the moment he entered "The End" boss fight and goes "A sniper battle, huh <shuffles through inventory for a few seconds up and down> WHERES MY SHOTGUN!?!" He died in the room he picked it up and never got it again before moving on but... A shotgun is the absolute worst tool you could possibly use in a long range precision based sniper duel.

Major Tom: This guy's kicking your ass; here's how to beat him...
DSP: Shut the fuck up asshole *skips*

it wasnt in the hd releases and these are probably ports of those. also who owns ape escape? sony or ubisoft?
Sony still owns the Ape Escape IP (and literally created by the same Sony studio, Japan Studio, the guys who did LocoRoco, Gravity Rush and Little Big Planet), but they haven't really given a shit about it since 2011, as they are known to be just used as marketing by making cameos in most other Sony titles throughout the 2010s onward.

Using the same voice lines = Konami saying "we ain't paying shit for new stuff, just rip it from the disc we lost the original recordings anyway..."

Watch the Guatemalan company with 23 employees that Konami carefully chose resort to the absolute latest in web accessible cutting edge AI technologies to recreate all the assets including geometry, textures and facial animation!

So they're including the NES version of Metal Gear as well as Snakes Revenge in the Master Collection

Of course, Kojima fanboys can't help but bitch and moan about how shitty they are even though it's just extra content Konami didn't have to go to the trouble of including.

I've also heard rumors that if a Master Collection Vol 2 comes out, MGS 4 is literally going to be a movie on it.

Oh and I guess Master Collection is going to be on Switch. I never heard that before.

I mean say what you want about Konami and all, but seeing the trailer for the MGS Vol 1. Collection still reminds me that the studio does care about Metal Gear. As for Vol 2, I hope and pray they include Rising.
