Originally, Kuzco was supposed to be "Manco", until someone realized "manko" is "vagina" in Japanese. No one wants to put in the research anymore, or they clearly know what they're doing in teaching children how to say "pussy" in another language because muh empowerment/take that, patriarchy.
Least with "squaw", no one complained until decades later once feminism took over.

I saw Spiderverse 2. Overall it was good. Not as good as the first one but felt like dlc for video games: more of the same but it's good shit worth the price. Music was really good too. My only downsides were Gwen's scenes in her universe were color vomit and nasty looking, the melodrama made me eyeroll. Peter B. being too comic relief and reduced to an irresponsible asshat like all mentor characters these days. No spider noir or spiderpig but plenty of negros ugh. Wish the britnig had subtitles.
I would say it's a continued moment from PIB2 and the Super Mario Movie (which I saw again at half price, yes it's still in theaters) when the same thing happened. Big difference is the Mario Movie and PIB2 weren't asking for it via journoscumfuck articles, they just appeared on their own. Spiderverse 2 however is asking for it with their usual divershitty dickriding of all these Captain Planet-esque spiderhumans and of course the activist shit peppered all over the movie.
Like what you like but the only episode I saw was them "parenting" a pimple on the pickle's butt. I don't consider animated equivalent bean burrito fart clouds "fresh air".
You don't watch many pilots huh? Back in the day sure, if there's too many notable differences, those pilots won't see airtime after greenlight (if you're lucky, they'll be bonuses on dvds). These days, if little changes are made, the pilot episode is Episode 1 and continues on from there. Anime does that sometimes with OVAs.
The most metrosexual disney protag with no love interest was almost named vagina. Even unintentionally this movie keeps bringing the laughs.

Not modern ones, no. The most recent one I watched was 12 Forever, I think, and that still looked noticeably different from the final product. It's not like there's any good shit worth going out of your way to watch a pilot for nowadays anyways.
I have to wonder what "these days" refers to. The last 3 years? The last 5? 12 Forever isn't exactly ancient.
A point in your favor: I also watched Infinity Train's pilot while I was at it, and I don't think it changed at all from pilot to series. I still distinctly remember that being the only pilot i'd ever seen like that, though. Every single other pilot either had a lot of little- but noticeable- tweaks (12 Forever), or was completely different in style (Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, OK-KO)

Manco sounds right, especially considering the man with no name was called Manco in for a few dollars more so A it fits cause its mesoamerican/mexican and B there was a dollars trilogy fan on the writing staff.
Coco legitimately earned it with that great grandma scene in the ending. Ofc its made by the last of the big three, Lee Unkrich. He retired after Coco which is why everything post has been kinda shit. I think Pete Docters still employed though, idk why he hasnt left yet.
