What the fuck is "crypto-fascisim?"

It's what jobless communists have to bolt onto everything that can destroy their narrative about why capitalism is so oppressive. When crypto came to real societal prominence ( not just golden bull run of 2018 ) it elevated a lot of people financially but, given they don't like the idea of anyone or anything succeeding in capitalism they hate it off the bat to keep congruent in their mindset without being proven wrong. It's just babies being babies because they don't like how the real world works.

Anyone that thinks that Spez will have to pay anyone or doesn't already have a glut of people lined up for the job to replace them is lieng to themselfs. He doesn't care about you, he has the ability to give you the finger and throw your protest away and get his site working again. Yes they may be people who are on his side but....ok...cool who else would you put in that position right now?

You are not as powerful as you think and you are standing on a rug that can be pulled out from you with no regard or any sort of consequence to Spez. I don't know the guy personally but do you think he gives a fuck?

Yandex has been pretty good, and any time I don't find something on Youtube or Google with one or two tries, I head over there and find it easily. Usually it's stuff that those sites censor, such as a Yellow Vest video I saw on the Kill Stream way back, couldn't find it anywhere, then went to Yandex, typed the first thing I tried on Youtube and it gave me the link to the video on Youtube instantly.

Haven't used their reverse image search though, as Yandex is janky in a lot of ways in its own unique way.

I tried to post something on this earlier but I think the site shit itself (and did nothing). Does anyone else read the word “Spez” and immediately picture the most stereotypical soyboy in the world? The name “u/isuckcocksforAIDS” is less gay.

At the end of the day, the official app is shit due to layout and performance because it's weighed down with trackers and advertising. The layout isn't going to improve because that would hurt ad revenue.

The trans powermods that make money off of botting on reddit too aren't the ones who ever participated in the blackout. It's mainly the ones who did this as a hobby. Forcing the official app without any attempts at parity is going to cause a lot of mods to just quit regardless of a blackout and holding onto power.

Maybe AI mods can fix this, but the biggest problem with AI mods is that they are poor against the AI bots that are now overrunning different subreddits.

It's almost like Reddit just wants itself to be overrun with the AI bots, and handcuff jannies in a way jannies don't normally like to be handcuffed. This way you have a hockeystick growth chart before the IPO. Inflate the user numbers just like what was happening with Twitter.

The only people that stick around at that point are the ones who either don't give a fuck about being banned or are terminally online. They really tried to save the world by destroying it themself. Something something the road to hell.

If there is no freedom of speech and no actual ability to have discourse then people will leave it like anything else. They don't want to be told what to do and think and that's all that's going on in the modern internet sans here or a private discord. you go to anywhere and all you see is LGBT this or Trans pride/rights that. They don't have to have the shit shoved down their throats for any reason.

There not interested in any of that nor do they have to be. Why would they? Go and claim transphobia because you have no other argument and block them anyway like you wouldn't 10 minutes later for some bullshit reason. Who would want to deal with that after a day of being customer service or doing uber eats?

New open source projects have a discord server for support since it's easier than using a forum or git issues. Chats aren't web indexed and prolific posters will get upset if you ask a question asked a thousand messages ago. Open source seems to be getting worse in this regard.

Common misspelling bot, source bot, anime lookup bot, SCP lookup bot, good bot, bad bot, this is the way bot, your comment is in alphabetical order bot, nice counter bot...You can't read a goddamn comment chain without some retarded ass bot being called and distrupting the conversation because "it's funny"!
A few more ChatGPT bots who spam ads for someone may as well make the site more usable.
