Shamelessly stealing this following news update from a 4chan post:
Wednesday, 6/14:
Co-Director Saleem Dabbous announced that the game is now "content complete" and now they're focusing on polish and bugfixes. Dabbous also confirmed that the demos were made in early March and lack the game's current level of polish.

Editor's note: I have no idea why or how they made a demo that couldn't be updated or worked on in parallel with the final product. You'd think everything that went into the demo would just be the start of the actual game and they could just fix that and have the start of the game, but what do I know, I don't get millions of dollars from the Canadian government to exist.
Tribeca Festival updates:
Tribeca announced that GVH has won the Tribeca Games Award, making it the third game to receive this award since its inauguration.

Digital queer magazine INTO featured GVH in their Tribeca coverage, calling it "the next step in cinematic adventure game storytelling". (Couldn't find a source, they should have picked a better name for their magazine)
Stack Up's review of the demo says the experience was profound and that GVH is "shaping up to be one of the most important stories of the year".

Next demo and preorder:
Not officially confirmed yet, but according to Versus Media Mexico, GVH will have its second demo as part of the Steam Next Fest event (June 19 - 26). GVH will then be available to preorder for $29.99.

Editor's Note: The website says it's available for pre-order
now, and it isn't. No idea if this is just early or complete bullshit.
What the fuck is a Tribeca award? Is it measured in the amount of your own farts you are capable of shoving your head into?
"The Tribeca Games Award honors an unreleased video game, recognizing "its potential for excellence in art and storytelling through design, artistic mastery and highly immersive worlds." " ~

Essentially, the same praise it's gotten from every journoscum in the last three years - it
might be really good.
