Men’s clothing generally does not fit women and vice Versa. The body proportions are different enough that only very specific things work. You can pinch your husbands hat, or socks (why are women’s socks so shit these days?) and they’ll be too big but they kind of work. Shirts, tops, trousers just don’t. Even t shirts, they just fit wrong. Unisex clothing is crap.gender-free" caftans.
Even a loose caftan won’t work, you see how it looks too narrow on the men and it’ll be too loose at the shoulder and proportionally weird at the waist for women.
That thankfully is not the norm these days. It used to be, and some terrible things were done to those kids. Nowadays, any ambiguous genitalia and you get an extended period to register the birth so they can do more physical and genetic investigation to see what’s what. Only 0.017% of births have genitalia that are too ambiguous to observe sex at birth.Especially due to the issue of intersex infants being given unnecessary cosmetic genital surgery and forced into a particular gender role.
Surgery is limited to emergency work to ensure that urination and defecation is possible and exposed bits of spine etc are closed. so for example a fistula would be fixed, or an imperforate anus would be corrected as best they can. Anything that could lead to death will be fixed but the SOP in the west now is to leave it as it is and let the child grow into their body.
An improvement on things as they were - treatment of children with these disorders has historically been dire.
And they’re nothing to do with trannies.
