On subject of Dobson... when... when was the last time he drew anything new now? I've completely lost track but the only thing I can think is the January wallpaper? It makes me question just how much he may have regressed even further in skills.

He did draw that Zootopia pic (3 months ago) and that Link doodle (4 months ago) on his Youtube.
And he drew something for that livestream if I recall correctly.

Not that those would help his drawing skills. Too little, too late.

Looks like he still handles his anger issues the same as always.

To think that the high point of his career was "had a decent amount of followers on dA and had a barely selling comic book series that ran for 2 issues". That's pathetic, even by lolcow standards.

Back when he announced he'd leave dA, I assumed that he didn't delete his account for exactly for one reason:
He is aware that once his account is gone, all the subscription numbers from his golden age of "being barely relevant" would be gone, too. So even if he would cave in and go back to dA, his account would be at square one. He needs these ancient numbers to console himself. "See, on dA I had [X] amount of followers! I was a legitimate artist once! Darn those trolls that made me ditch my career!"

I wonder if he's vaguely aware that even if he made art, without a site like dA, he's not going to find new fans. dA helped spreading awareness of his art, without it, there#s only his 2 personal galleries, that are notoriously hard to find if you don't have the exact names at hand. Googling "Andrew Dobson Art Gallery" will mainly turn up sites that mock him and I doubt Twitter is the kind of place that can be used to promote art.

But then again, all this doesn't matter as long as Dobby doesn't draw, anyway. In the long process of Dobson's career circling the drain, we've entered the last phase where it's pretty much on its last few swirls around the black whole of unsalvageable failure.

It's certainly nice timing, considering Wu-senpai is following hot on his heels, even though she's a lot more spectacular to watch, no doubt...

So when he's not impotently posting uncalled-for images of cuddly animals, he gives shitty, conterproductive advice that are neither empowering, nor supportive?
Geez Dobby, I can't believe I have to say this, but... please go back to the animal images.

Also, advice like these drive home how there is absolutely no chance that Dobson is getting any kind of effective help from a professional shrink.
