You literally said that everything is set in fucking stone, meaning nothing is going to change anything, no matter what we do. I said we need to keep moving forward. I've said you wanted to run because that's where that mindset of "Guess im fucked and can't do shit" does to people. You have admitted defeat before the fight has begun. And you wonder why Trump and every anti establishment candidate keeps losing.

What I AM saying is nothing is set in stone. I could get up and go to walmart right now. It's pretty late, don't need to, but I could. Grand elaborate 1000 year plans tend to fuck up early on. Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
Nice speech, it's right out of a Shonen Jump series.

No, I don't think things are "set in stone", quite the contrary. If I did I wouldn't bother posting about political shit or talking about it, and I definitely wouldn't have these back and forths as it'd be a waste of time if everything was a foregone conclusion.

That said yes, the problems that are plaguing america are what they are, and no, no amount of voting is going to just fix shit at this point. Though I'll expound on that in a sec.
You haven't actually explained your own beliefs yet. From what I've seen you are more about calling everyone idiots because they think we'll do dimensional merge into a Dean Martin film once someone is elected President. So what are your beliefs?
How about you read the post I made before that, and figure it out. I'm not intelligent enough nor of the kind of personality to be opaque when I respond or make statements on politics. Closest I ever come to that is asking leading questions.
How about instead of accepting defeat, you at least go out kicking and screaming. I'm in that car. You're in that car. I quite like my life and personally, I don't want everything going up in smoke. Negativity is what the uniparty wants, its what keeps us down and in line. It's like with the bud light boycotts. They told you it would never work. Then it did. I haven't lived long enough to embrace the death of my home, or my own death really. They have a big elaborate plan with a lot of moving parts with many redundancies. There's still choke points, still parts that can fail. Don't give up hope.
What by your definition is "defeat"? Because to me, the definition of defeat is that this current system stabilizes enough to last for decades to come while continuing to slowly whittle away freedoms both economic and legal that we enjoy while people like yourself continue to convince the other frogs in the pot that the water isn't getting any hotter.

@Abyssal Bulwark Did an excellent job outlining the gist of it, but what you're doing here isn't some noble call to arms. It's delusional screeching not unlike a character from a Lovecraft short story who caught a glimpse of Cthulhu, coming from an unwillingness to come to terms with the actual reality of the situation you're living in out of some misguided notion that you can simply will an answer for an unsolvable problem by hoping enough and committing the intellectual equivalent of hiding behind your hands.

I get that text is a much more difficult medium through which to express as well as receive emotion, but when I talk about shit like how this system is failing on multiple fronts, how the corruption is becoming more naked, how the stupid fucks like RFK or DeSantis who either get put up as plants or are no better despite nominally being outside of control, how no one person will fix this shit, or any of the other points that folks like you view as negative, I view as I said earlier:
it's because through that I see a hope
A bit out of context of how I originally used it but this situation, to me, is optimistic. Yes, government getting so nakedly corrupt, the workforce becoming so inept, the debt and inflation becoming so unmanageable, the replacement rate cratering in spite of immigration legal and illegal, the entrenched establishment teetering over like a hollowed dead tree, the rainbow brigade becoming more and more overt, etc...

It's all leading up to real fucking change. Change people like you would lop off a limb to avoid. Change this country fucking needed a century ago. You accuse me of viewing things as set in stone, but in my perspective on this everything was set in stone until very, very recently.

Will it be bad? Sure. Will things necessarily be better? Fuck no. But the only mother-fucking alternative is for things to slowly get worse as people like yourself, who have this delusional view that this decrepit system that has so many different layers of methods to self-correct as to continue I haven't bothered line-iteming them like Abyssal Bulwark did as listing them all would double the wordcount of this post, can just merely be nudged back into a spot that makes it suddenly work for the American people.

The things you are never going to see under this system as it is currently, and won't see without the likely collapse that is incoming:

Congressional term limits
Reduced size of the federal government/Empowerment of states rights in any meaningful fashion
Outlawing of unelected bureaucratic agencies
Anti-trust actions against mega-corps
Reduction of federal spending
Illegal and/or legal immigration being curtailed
Re-establishment and reinforcement of fundamental rights as originally laid out in the bill of rights
Legislative action against various currently legal methods of bribery of federal representatives
Effective reduction of corruption
Outlawing of spying on Americans by agencies domestic or foreign
Consumer protection laws against corporate harvesting and selling of user data
Meaningful legislative or executive action against pointless wars
Actual racial discrimination being outlawed

I'm sure I can think of a few things more if I thought that list somehow wasn't long enough. Every passing decade under this system dating back to the late 1800's that you are so pants-shittingly scared of both realizing the magnitude at which it has irreparably been corrupted, and the extent to which it is unsalvageable, Americans have lost more autonomy and have gained more taxes and debt while the federal government as well as corporations have only expanded. Wealth has consistently been siphoned off of the average citizen dating back to your fucking great-grandparents' time from this system all the way down to you right into the assholes in D.C., their families and allies, only ever accelerating as things have been increasingly centralized in government and private sectors.

I cannot express it enough that I don't see what you see as "defeat". I see nothing to run from nor any reason to leave. To me, you seem like the kind of person who's a fair-weather American so terrified of the possibility that things will get ugly before they get better that you'd turn-tail and play refugee the moment the reality of the situation meets the logical consequences of this decades-long intentional and malicious mismanagement.

But to actually explain something, near to every politician and government official currently in office at the federal level is compromised by this system whether it be through common corporate bribery, favors-for-favors backroom bullshit, or because betraying the system itself would lead to monetary and/or social consequences that would be deleterious to their standard of living.

Not a single person can even run for federal office without knowing somebody who knows someone who can get the connections together to protect them from the media and get assholes from the political donor class to back them. To go further, they have to be on good terms with the party of their choice or they get fucked in the ass, both of which are controlled from the top by corrupt scumfucks and that aforementioned "donor class".

To fully in-depth explain this and just how far it goes I'd have to put a fuckload more effort into this post than I already have. From explaining the situation in stock-trading by congress critters, to how corpos worked hand-in-fist with the government to help centralize both from telecoms to food, to political bribery from campaign funding to revolving-door scenarios like lawmakers and people in the FDA going on to work with/for the companies they were supposed to regulate, etc. I'd be here all fucking day linking images, articles, and other shit I'm not going to spend more time than I already have writing this post to elucidate.

Unless you somehow plan to crowdfund and grassroots organize a quite feasibly multi-trillion dollar, multi-million person, PAC or something similar to start a no-shit party "of the people, by the people" that can also find a litany of fucking un-corruptible saints to simultaneously both primary and win a direct election against every sitting member of congress simultaneously, this shit is unsalvageable beyond any attempts to fix it via the electoral system ahead of the very, very probably collapse of some kind from various interlocking sources in the next ten to twenty years at the most optimistic.

It's early in the day so forgive me if that was a bit of a disjointed ramble.

From what i gathered from reading your posts. You are this guy. Feel free to correct me.

From what I gathered so far reading your posts, you're one of these guys:

Especially after you posted uncensored, unspoilered, alleged CSA images off of Twitter in the Russia/Ukraine war happenings thread.

Edit: Found Null's warning he, for some reason, had to give him:

It's OK :). I understand your points now. In fact I agree with the road map of what needs to happen. I'm just not going to live my life in doom and gloom over it. I know we're fucked. And? We'll deal with it when we get there. I can't do much until shit starts falling apart. But I can have a good attitude. Change is happening, slowly. I don't expect even half that list to have happened until I'm old and dead. But until then I will hold my head high and refuse to believe all hope is lost. If only for me.

lol at least you are honest sometimes.

and I'm definitely a spiteful asshole,

but you still won't elaborate, which means I touched a nerve.

>leak audio of Trump sperging about some document to taint the jury pool and hurt Trump politically
>leave out the part where the witness Trump was sperging to said Trump was referring to the document, he did not show it to the witness and did not have it in his hands or on the table or anywhere
>the document in question is not even a document Trump is being charged with illegally showing to anyone or even possessing
>this blatant prosecutorial misconduct will result in precisely zero consequences
This is so blatantly corrupt, and CNN won't say shit about it, they won't even say this wasn't at MAL and instead at Bedminster:

Yeah, that won't work out long term

Lol. Those fuckers are bootlickers who were too scared to join the military. They'll be on the side of the feds, possibly directly opposed to their state's government.

I'm told that PDs are ridiculous faggots, whereas Sherriff's departments can be far better, presumably by virtue of the latter being an elected office. Not certain how true that is, given the quality of other "elected" positions.

it's not negativity when some people have the mindset the point of no return has been past for a while and the only way is burn it all down and start from scratch, the faster the better, just like ripping off a bandaid.
I don't necessarily subscribe to that, but imo knowing the difference when to renovate or demolish is valuable to understand. one way or another you'll inevitably gonna get either noise or dust from the husk next door.

I get that. It's just that the demolish mindset is absolutely toxic unless you are there, at the point you need to. Is shit bad? Yes. Unsolvable? Personally, I think not. I'm not living in China yet. I'd rather try and focus on solutions than worry about the sky is falling. If the sky is falling, nothing I can do. But if it isn't, there is a chance I can do something, even if it's small. It's all about mindset. That is all I've been trying to say.

Bro once they start absorbing Sherriff's departments nationwide into their machine politics we're going to have so many interstate stapfights over various Shitwood's trying to jail the "Nazis".

"Hey Oklahoma your resident said something mean online and that's illegal over here we're going to extradite him now"
"The fuck you mean California, I Florida decree that the Oklahoma man is my Nazi to arrest now fuck off"
"Hey hey sugars what's going on over here? I Texas claim the Oklahoma man as my Nazi to arrest since what he did is also illegal here".

Civil War 2 electric boogaloo begins over the subject of State's rights again but in the most hilarious authoritarian manner.

The Feds hate local cops because a cop who actually serves the community is one who won't obey the state above all else. It's why the whole "defund the police" shit was passed, it is all about replacing law enforcement with regime aparatus. You destroy local cops, create a cycle of people not wanting to join the police, the police not being seen as part of the community, which leads to a separation of police and community and people no longer want to join it... It makes it easier to force a federalized police force and easier to ensure local cops won't think twice about obeying the boss in the capital over orders to spy and do no-knock raids on their neighbors.

And the hugely unpopular crime wave was just an unfortunate side effect

Oh yeah, complete and total accident. It just so happens that such a wave of crime helps them later on insist that "violence" is a problem, so we need more "safety" which means more gun control! And once they have had a few months to get the media to memory hole their bullshit they can insist on new "legislation" to try and stop crime which just so happens to be more police but LOOK! Instead of those bad mean police officer who are racist and violent we get new officers who just so happen to have been trained in the new paradigm and who obey the New Order!

That reminds me, somebody less lazy than me should update the Chitwood thread, I think he had some more online drama
