It's just occurred to me that this might be the first time that Nick has entered a scuffle with someone who is actually liked, or at least, who isn't specifically disliked/is neutral. He has long had the benefit that his Rogues Gallery has been filled with deeply unlikeable people, so it was easy to side with him against them. Even his downward spiral has been him vs. himself, without someone else to root for other than the mountain that he's crashing into. This gives the decline a face and a name.
In the capped images, he maintains that he hasn't insulted Pippa by insulting Phase, has it explained to him that her fans see the problem somewhere else, and states that he knows that and is intending to frustrate them. That brings in support when you're making fun of a wife beater, but not someone whom people see as the bystander in the beef. Those people are going to turn against you, if they haven't already.
I don't care about the cartoon rabbit, but as someone on Team Mountain, I am excited to see where this goes if it doesn't burn out immediately.

They were a Locals regular, but I can't remember the context.
This is the one who had to be taken to a hospital and raged that a firefighter 'killed [her] cat' for days. Eventually it came out that they left the door open and the cat wandered out. It showed up fine about a week later.
Is it possible that Nick's relations with lawtube are more strained than they appear on the surface as well? He rarely seems to get more than one on at a time now.
Of course it has. Nick was supposed to be their trickle down cash cow. Now he has debased himself to be worse than them but somehow they can't outgrow him. Lawgic, mindset, vice, his 3 closest ballsack guarders are stuck in the 100k zone (vice is even only at 40k) and they got no one to latch on to for a good growth and have been complaining about YT oppressing them for a while now. Lawgic especially got disrespected with no shows on his monday collab streams with Nick. They may be all smiles with each other, but I want to remind that 'grifting' is a joke that isn't a joke. As indicated by Nick's behavior in the pippa drama, shekels comes first, friendship is an excuse for shekels. There is no doubt in my mind that all these law tubers think the same way.
He made a big deal about leaving the lawtube chat. Then he moved on from legal topics. He also had a rant that 'the ones [he has] on the show are the ones he likes' and how 'obvious' it was. I think you have part of it, but the I think it has devolved into squabbling over pennies when the big trial hype died up and Nick stopped being interested in law and having them on.
For me, it will be interesting who shows up if he streams another trial.
Looking back, the narrative that Nick & Camelot are using against the rabbit is kind of interesting. It seems deliberately designed to cause her maximum potential damage. They went out of their way at every opportunity to attack her agency, her show format and her fans while constantly saying that she is really on their side. She wants to be with Nick, but her evil representation which is "abusing" her will not let her. She is actually cool with Nick and Camelot, but her evil pedo incel fans are constantly causing trouble.
Its the kind of thing that could really damage a business relationship if there was a lack of trust between the parties. Its also the kind of thing that could be used to stir up trouble within a fan community. It didn't seem to work in this case, but it says alot about current Nick that he would do stuff like this.
And its such a weird narrative that its difficult for me not to see it as being deliberate. Why do the white knighting of her at all after clearly trying to pick a fight with her. Why attack her fans, her show, her format and her representation so hard while at the same trying to act like her defenders?
Don't vtuber companies also try their hardest to make sure that no one fucks with the image of the brand? Like more than most companies do? If Nick is floating out there that she's told him she essentially hates the company, it's keeping her under their thumbs, and she being taken advantage of, that seems like a gayop attempt to make her company move on from her.
All this faggotry because coomalot and rackets wanted clout from a woman pretending to be a bunny.
Nick did run that weird piece of 'work' by planting the story that he and one of the LOCALS thots were going to a drag show. He revelled in being teflon with drama, but now it is starting to stick.
I am not thinking that Nick is above running some kind of outrage campaign, but I think that kickign the hornets nest 'for fun' and out of idiocy is just as likely.
He shit on Randazza's partner, then had to hire him.
He shit on Coleman's legal filing and had to eat crow.
He bragged about mouthing off to a judge in an elevator after his case was over, and now that judge is pondering his lawsuit dismissal motion
Nick's unhinged rants have no consideration for the future and often come to bite him in the arse.
I have a question for the people who keep better tabs on the Locals than I do: is it normal for the live chat he sets up every day to only have 30 people "active" during the evening? It's currently about to hit 5 pm Central, Nick's time zone, and I distinctly remember there being upwards of 300 people in it every day nearly around the clock. Now the last messages are all from StillLife the paypig and those were over half an hour ago.
I was under the impression that the show was doing well and the Locals chat was the most happenin' place on the Internet. What happened bros?
It hovers in the 30's between shows and peaks at about 40 - 50 mid-day. The shows can get it up to over a hundred to three hundred, but it dies off quickly.
You are correct that it used to be many more and much more active all the time, but a few things happened:
- Nick got super degenerate and porn was being posted non-stop
- The YT ban audience and Depp fans lost interest
- A core group of peak parasocials dominated the chat
- People started posting body shots and it leaked here
- Kiwi Farms became 'the enemy' I wrote a script taht logs the chat continuously. People FREAKED OUT and dire warnings went out that people were going to be DOXXED TO DEATH!
- A SPAM poster PWN'd the chat for the better part of a day
- Several sperg detractors started fighting with people non-stop
Overall, I think that it just became less fun after people started fighting and realising that they were being mocked for being too open about their lives.
Matsuri gonna be lit this year, friends! LOLOL
And speaking of scalps, those hair plugs aren't gonna hold up too well to that kind of force, one would imagine.
I am interested to see what happens at Matsuri this year with Nick and if they have him back next year... His first hook in there was anime man with gay trousers... Then it was FNT and G&G plus more YTbers... It seems like the YT corner under Nick's direction this year will languish...
