Can't quote posts after they reach a certain length. The quote and reply buttons white out, including the post he was replying to.
If only there were some way to quote portions of long posts...
Maybe you could highlight the part you want to quote or reply to and then tap the quote or reply button next to the part you highlighted.
Eh, never mind, that would never work.

The biggest and funniest thing will be: Most people have less than 3 days of food in their house.

Now, if the power were to cut out, that's where the real shit hits the fan.

The Bug Hives won't do good. A lot of the locusts that, in days gone by, would have spread out will still get trapped. Many of them will just think they can leave. All at the same time. Leading to the roads clogged up.

It'd be kind of funny.

The worst thing though, is situations like that ALWAYS hit the most vulnerable the hardest. Kids, women, babies, all of them will suffer the most. The elderly and the infirm. Hospitals would be horror shows.

The stores would be stripped first. If the power and water go out, then shits gets real ugly real fast. The roads would get blocked, especially when people start filling up both directions trying to get by and the shoulders and roadsides get full of morons who tried to drive their Tesla on the shoulder in the grass. Fires, fights, all of that.

The rich will just leave via helicopter.

Everyone else will be fighting by Day Four. Day Two if there's no water because the pumping stations or the pipeline got taken out.

It won't be pretty. It won't be nice.

You'd be able to smell the death from the cities for miles by Day Five or Six.

This is something we want to have happen.

On top of it being a holiday weekend, the past few days of not checking twitter because of Musk's sign up attempt/API limiter has been interesting. I see no one talk about Meatball anywhere, Trump still drew a massive crowd in South Carolina (I don't think it was 50,000 like the fire marshall said but it was one of the largest), the increase cost of food has become common talk among everyone, no matter age, gender or race, that it has been the go-to small talk topic, and many more people than I thought are now quietly buying arms to defend their families and openly saying they're doing it.

Brazil - Corrupt shitshow with a corrupt commie in charge who is going to take an already teetering country and run it into the ground even faster. Remember that whole "Clean water isn't an exact science" debacle at the Rio Olympics? Don't count on them to be a world powerhouse any time soon.

Russia - Currently not doing all that hot in Ukraine, and as @draggs pointed out their economy has taken a massive hit thanks to brain drain fleeing Putin's tyranny for greener pastures and the war production and increased cost of imports necessary to bypass sanctions piles on.

India - DESIGNATED SUPERPOWER BY 2020. Shit in the streets, almost lost a nuclear sub to a hatch left open in port, and their elected officials are somehow dumber than the ones in the USA.

China - One Child has fucked their demographics over harder than anything in the West and their entire economy is a sand castle based on exporting cheap plastic shit, ghost cities, and a real estate bubble that's looking to be worse than Japan's.

South Africa - Massive blackouts from constant wire thefts, their capital almost ran completely out of water, and the ANC is pillaging the country so shamelessly and ruthlessly everyone not a Bantu is starting to think apartheid was actually a pretty good idea since it meant the lights were on, the taps had running water, and food was on the tables.

They also produce around 60% of all commodities in the world so regardless of their faults they still have still set-up a massive trade alliance. With a trade alliance they can keep out of each others affairs while not being reliant on one nation to hoist them up. If the US fails the entire Nato union falls apart.

They can still drop the dollar which will kill demand for the dollar and will cause inflation to skyrocket as all that exported inflation will come flooding back to the states. So regardless the US still needs Brics to use the dollar for trade.

As for Russia and China it's very diffcult to say what is really going on with them as there is a clear fog of war going on. I've seen countless videos talking about China's collapse yet nothing has come from it and with Russia I've seen videos of people going into stores and the prices in those stores being better than the US.

It really isn't a good idea to underestimate a threat and that hubris is a great way to set an empire up to fail.

Notebly, all of those countries have been fucked over by the American financial system at least once and likely would ahve been doing better if not for American meddling.

The vast majority of Americans have gone through the entire life in relative peace and anyone who in living memory actually fought a war that took place on American soil is long dead. In the event of anything even resembling a true civil conflict across the country the suffering on the general populace at the very least would be immense. So much of the supply chain and infrastructure depends on things being stable by a thread.

Imagining such terrors is one thing, seeing them is another and requires major mental and physical preparation to get used to (if at all) generally. In the war there is high chance the carnage is immense, the death is immense and the suffering is immense. There is no romanticism, just death.

While there are many illustrations of this throughout history, a fitting one for today in particular is this: 160 years ago at approximately 2 PM 12,500 living, breathing armed men with their own families, goals, hopes, dreams and ambitions marched across a field in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania to face their counterparts. About an hour later almost 50% of that number would become casualties and the place they fought on would be littered with body parts, the groans of the dying and mounds of flesh that someone once called their son, father, brother, cousin or uncle.

The sad thing is though that civil strife doesn't usually happen by itself, things typically leads up to it. While personally I don't want to predict a civil war or something like that because people have done that for ages and nothing happens the polarization has to boil over eventually at this rate, Something has to give in one way or another.

We're loosing our good friend Ben Garrison he has pancreatic cancer now.

my thoughts in his thread
I aint sitting through that shit, but I assume his death is imminent?
pour a 40 for my homie
but clearly label the 40 as " A 40 OZ TO SHOW RESPECT TO MY DEAD HOMIE" and the curb labeled "THE CURB REPRESENTING THE EARTH IN WHICH THE HOMIE IS BURIED"

It may not be alcohol, niggers get addicted to everything.

Maybe they're discriminated against because they're drug addicts
