Tim had Matt Braynard, a political activist & Director of Technology under Trump, as the guest.
Ian & Phil were the co-hosts.
By the end of this episode, I was thoroughly reminded why I dislike Tim.
The combination of antipathy, which turns to gleeful spite by the end, at people losing their jobs at the Bud Light bottling plants, because they failed to be as plugged into things as Tim, or quit on principle, & then Tim being unwilling to make any effort to help elect people that could make West Virginia more like how he wants it...
The ability to flip from sanctimonious condemnation of inaction, to shoving away even an easy task to affect change, all within one hour's time is mind-boggling to me.
I will not lie, I became very annoyed by the end of this.
*Panel talks double standard after cocaine was found in the White House: 4:39-11:39
*Panel talks issues in DeSantis campaign: 27:39-47:49
*Tim bemoans that in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where he wants to place a Castbrew Coffee location, the city council voted 5-3 to make June Pride Month. Matt suggests Tim help get councilors voted in that would oppose it, but Tim says it is not his thing: 58:59-1:08:17
*Tim compares the people bottling Bud Light to contractors working on the Death Star, calls it "banality of evil" for them to not be aware of the whole Bud Light fiasco, is glad they lost their jobs: 1:43:39-2:00:37
-Unlike that coward, Bill Clinton, Ian admits he DID inhale. Cocaine, in this case:
-Matt thinks the best "historical example" for rural, conservative voters gaining power is...Dorothy, from "The Wizard of Oz":
-Tim has moved on from talking about Emma Vigeland...Now, he just alludes to her, without naming her:
-There is only one way to redeem Ron DeSantis, to have him come on Timcast (or any show like Timcast, Tim hastens to add) & apologise:
-Tim blames the workers at the bottling plant for Bud Light supporting the Dylan Mulvaney campaign, & not quitting on the spot:
-Tim complains about how people in West Virginia will not challenge wokeness. & so, Tim, as a newly minted West Virginian, will do nothing to challenge wokeness, as well:
-Ian has been gaslit from a very young age...:
-Ian is not willing to put himself into any hole, even a bonus one:
-Tim claims he is to the left, politically, of Hasan. Ian claims Ana Kasparian is hot.
Also, in the clip, Tim claims he shares revenue in order to foster talent, but considering the falling out with Adam over splitting profits, I am not believing this:
-Unlike self proclaimed left-leaning Tim, Matt offers to help the laid off bottling plant workers find employment, instead of spite:
Bonus Bits:
-Tim was being a real Farquaad this episode...:
-But, to throw him a bone, & in honour of Tim's love of Star Trek, I gave him the voice over role as James T.I.M. Kirk, glad all those miners on Praxis lost their jobs (& lives) for not leaving their Klingon Empire employment, in protest:
