Of course not, those were his own words. Obviously the dudes retarded and doesn't have an understanding of religion beyond what a 9th grader could learn from the early sex pest atheist youtubers, but thats why his religion podcast is going to be hilarious. He clearly doesn't like doing charity because hes lazy and greedy, so he just made up retarded christian doctrines to justify his behavior.

Now imagine a whole podcast of him justifying all his beliefs that are rooted in greed, laziness, and ego by walking backwards into made up religious doctrines for a religion he doesn't even participate or believe in. Pure gold.

He isnt going to just say "i didnt want to be a christian because im lazy, willful, and have no convictions" so hes going to have to explain his reasoning for rejecting religion which should be just as funny.

DSP hates the church because they get more donations and he works harder. It's just not fair.

I am sure no small part of his hatred for religion stems from seeing people put money in the collection plate to feed the poor and hungry when that money could go to people who really need it, like scoply!

Imagine if he got confronted about organizations like Caritas existing. If the only tr00 way to do charity according to Catholic theology is hidden, then why doesn't Caritas run itself like a mafia organization where all the members meet in secret and talk in coded language? Why don't they break into poor people's homes and leave food and free shit in their house? Also if tr00 charity is about "sacrifice" and you have to "hate doing it" for it to be "meaningful" then if someone genuinely enjoys working with kids for example and then volunteers for a charity that assists disabled kids, is that not tr00 charity? His reasoning has more holes than his hairline.

I maintain that most of what we call Phil's "greed" is actually gluttony. He doesn't like hoarding money or even possessions anymore. The only thing he enjoys is burning things away. Gin and doordash shoveled into his mouth, and money incinerated into sweaty pixels. If you just dropped a million dollars on Phil's doorstep and said "This can only be used for providing for your family", he'd give you the sourest old-man look ever, one that could curdle lemons.

he does still have some heavy levels of greed. he just doesn't horde money.
he cannot share with another person ever, he does so with his wife only, probably because he has to and she cleans after him, so it's technically transactional
remember how he refuses to do charity streams or pay people fairly.
he got pissed when leanna had a panic attack and his biggest worry was having to pay for her treatment, not that his girlfriend is having panic attacks.
