That's what kind of makes the entire thing a non issue, since they could just use the API keys of whatever tools the exceptions were given to, or simply scrape the information off the webpage. Don't exactly see Newpipe/yt-dlp devs crying about API pricing when they could just not use the API, or take the keys from the official client.

Or are they are simply incapable of getting their tools to work unless Reddit rolls out the red carpet with some API?

I don't know why they can't understand that so long as both parties are consenting adults, there's nothing wrong with it. I can get finding it kinda weird seeing a pair with like 30 years between them, but if they're adults what's the harm?

Got a couple of good ones here. The first one is a thread about a video from a pride parade where a man dressed in a costume interviews a 7 year old MTF transgender and his parents. The jannies aren't sweeping it up too good and the comments are full of people correctly pointing out how this is child abuse

The other one is another AITAH post of a guy who's daughter had a hissy fit because he didn't tell her he's dating a white woman. He is white his daughter is mixed. The account that posted it was deleted so most likely a bait post but not a bad one really
