The blog post on steam explicitly mentions the Deck, so yes. How playable it will become is up in the air as they also increased recommended requirements.Since it's playable on PS5, shouldn't that also mean it's playable on Steam Deck?
This is my biggest fear for it -- that it'll be frontloaded with choices & consequences plus general reactivity that'll continually decrease (along with the overall quality) the further you get into the game, much like DOS2. Divinity II felt like it was worked on by an ever shrinking staff until it was just the janitor, leaving you with a finale of people standing around on a generic ship going "gee, what an adventure that was!" followed by really shitty epilogue slides.I'm gonna predict based on my experience with Divinity that the first half will be fine and the second half a rushed slog just like their other games. The last half of Divinity Original Sin 2 is legit awful. And the final battle really very stupid.
Sounds very wholesome! I can't wait for the the official Oz voice over mod. No nigger-elves are gonna stand between me and my constitutional rights.Release date reveal trailer. August 31, 2023. JK Simmons is The Absolute. That almost makes up for not having the orginal voice actor for Minsc.
iirc, the 'what you dream of' character is the form the tadpole takes, trying to get you to succumb to it and give up control that only shows up a few times, not really a fully fleshed out characterWhat is the point in having "What you dream of" and companion romances both? Shouldn't one make the other redundant?

i'd just wait, the full release is only a few months away (August 31st) and I don't think you can transfer your save from EA to the full gameAny thoughts on whether it's worth playing rn or just wait for release?
You can't. But if you buy early access, you will get to play chapter 1 of full game I think 3 days early. You also get upgraded to the digital deluxe version for no extra charge.i'd just wait, the full release is only a few months away (August 31st) and I don't think you can transfer your save from EA to the full game
It's $CURRENT_YEAR, unless you were being retortical.Just how pozzed is this game though? I really don't want to support that kind of shit.
You may find more replies on the Switch thread. It's an old game that could be one-handed with a mouse, I doubt the switch will have trouble playing it. The biggest issue may be the UI, since the screen is very small.Any of you fellas played Baldur's Gate on the switch version? Was thinking about getting the cheapest switch so that I would have something to play when my lights go out, and saw that they made a port of BG of all things. Curious as to if it controls well.
I played it for 50+ hours and only two things come to mind.Just how pozzed is this game though? I really don't want to support that kind of shit.
