More post-jail sightings megathread

There's absolutely no reason for that and if they're trying to get these tards jobs, it would be completely counterproductive.
Some group homes are not set up for internet and those that are do tend to have rules on it or a communal computer.

Almost all group homes have connections to supportive employment resources so they would help them get jobs easily even without it.

I didn't work in a group home but I worked with a vocational program for disability and autism. Chris would have qualified although they worked more with "pants on head screeching constantly" levels of autism. They didn't make the tards go on Indeed.com and fill out applications- most couldn't fucking read. The program had existing connections with local buisness (lots of charities like thrift stores, as well as some restaurants, government buildings, movie theaters, and recycling plants.) The thing to keep in mind is that they worked for the tard company, not the movie theater (like a temp.) No reason they need go to AMC.com/careers and submit an application.

Many of these positions are for less than 20hrs a week, and no one is hiring normally for someone to only work three two-hour shifts a week.

I could actually see Chris as a movie ticket-taker, especially if he's drugged towards less sperg-outs.....

Are there exceptions to this and people in tard homes who work 40hrs a week and applied online? I'm sure. But still, what's the likelihood Chris uses the internet independantly to apply for a job, vs. using it to get on social media? Wouldn't make any sense.

In Chris case I can think of one. He might have finally got a case worker that actually give two shits and a goat about his well being. One that recognized that Christ being on social media was a major part of this tards problem. Part of a plea deal to keep his ass out of jail is he can't be on any form of social media.

From what I know of the law, which admittedly, could fit on a cereal box. Plea deal are wide open. Almost anything can go in them as long as it gets approved by the court.

Usually to be in a tard home you have to be deemed disabled enough that you need 24/7 oversight. Keeping a full time job would probably get you told to go find a place since we have many more poeple that need placements then placements.

I had a few parents do tracking things for their young kids with autism that liked to elope. But no one I worked with in group homes has ever been required to wear any piece of tracking equipment.

This is because its illegal in the us to use these systems on residents unless it is ordered by the court or a doctor (only seen this in nursing homes to make sure residents with dementia do not leave.) This is because they are deemed as a restraint device.

That looks like one of those off brand fit bits and some people do wear those on ankles. It actually makes sense if he has sensory issues due to autism that he would be wearing such a device on his ankle like that.

Offlabel and brand ankle fitbits.

It's tough to consider Chris would wear a fitness device.

Yeah, the structure seems to be good for him on some level, but they either assisted in dying his hair or allowed him to dye it himself, they also haven't taken the skirt away and it looks like he still might have some memorabilia from the past.

If the wranglers really want to help Chris then they need to go beyond just giving him a nice place to live and a routine, if they continue to allow or enable his delusions he'll probably just relapse into his previous behavior after he leaves the home; if he ever does.
i dont think that would be a good idea for someone in his case
letting him dye his hair, wear a skirt and bracelets and play with his pockeymans is whats keeping him sane, sure they might symbolize his delusions, but theyre not actively causing them or hurting him, theyre just byproducts OF them
sometimes a mental patient needs to be indulged, and having their comforts taken away can actively make their mental state worse
Yes. The American justice system is absolutely fucked.
nobody in america needs a specialized tracking device
the whole country is a tracking device

No it wasn't. Chris was not enabled or egged on to do what he did over social media at all. Really I think it's a case of "everyone involved is old and out of touch and doesn't understand the big scary internet." All they understand is Chris won't stop telling every detail about his life on the internet and if he was allowed to post the home would become flooded with weens trying to get a look at him. They agreed to make it a part of his plea deal to stay off the internet as long as he's the courts problem sp the system doesn't fet muddled up with retards akin to what guntzilla did he day he was arrested.

that's a bad typo there
An now its apart of farm history forever!!!!
If and I mean IF they are making him practice proper hygiene then maybe. But considering the condition of the skirt I don't have that high of hopes :(
Chris has made "friends" in the past. Null for awhile was his friend, or was trying to be. I don't see the question as can he make friends, I see it can he keep friends. I doubt Chris is able to know what a friend really is. He simply seems to abuse every one that comes in to his life.

I don't think he will make any "friends" in this group home in the long run. He may get "followers." For a tard he is high function, so he might rise up and become the king tard of own little kingdom of tards.

being on social media is absolutely a part of Chris' problem, just because nobody forced him on there or made him post (most of) the stuff he did, doesn't mean it wasnt his greatest source of misfortune
if i was... hypothetically speaking... an alcoholic, youd say alcohol played a large part in my problems, even tho vodka never grabbed me by the collar and forced itself down my throat

"Honor Roll" is so self-centered that to him, "friends" is interchangeable with "servants".

Or in other words and as shown in the "Sonichu" comics, he sees "friend" as mere "yes-man".
i think Chris has a very one-dimensional and cartoony view of friends, or any other role in a person's life, like a girlfriend. theres hardly a need for a connection, or enjoying one another's presence- you just assign a person to that role
a lot of Chris' problems and worldview go back to his vision of himself as a character as opposed to a person and the way he rationalizes things accordingly

"This is Chris, he likes [list of interests] and his friends are [other character] and [other character]"
im sure Chris sometimes wishes he could just write out his life like a wikipedia page for a cartoon character

In regards to hygeine:
Chris would be encouraged to follow his ADLs but if he did not wish too you cannot force a client to bathe. You also cannot force a client to stop wearing certain clothes.

In regards to friends:
He would be encouraged to make friends with his housemates since they need everyone to at least get along and there is a big social aspect to these type of homes where they go together on outtings and such.

do you guys think its possible Chris might have made some friends
Not if he has the same attitudes towards "slow-in-da-minds" that he used to. Poor Chris, surrounded by short-bus riders, with moaning and groaning and blathering coming out of their mouths.
