Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

Speaking of which, Ya Boi had a meltdown over Indy 5 flopping and went full SJW, accusing evil YouTubers like Doomcock of ageism, deleting comments and shadowbanning users, and telling everyone to do better because they're being mean to Harrison!
This dude's shelf life has expired. Sad to see. I kind of miss the days of him autistically cutting up comics in his NYC rabbit hutch and throwing them behind the heating vent, where they'd sit for weeks.

He's also an idiot, but that's nothing new. The smell your own farts ragetubers have a cultural reach to a small group of disciples and that's it. I will also concede an ability to get under the skin of "content creators" as with Doomcock's cameo in the She-Hulk series, but the general audience had no idea what the hell they were seeing with that.

If I ever knew about this, I've long forgotten about it. But there it was on Twitter today. She also didn't use the #Comicsgate hashtag, so I presume, well, I'm not quite sure what. Trying to fly under the radar? I'm also not sure how Micah Curtis (Sleeveless Comics) is involved since I don't see his name anywhere on the Peregrine campaign. 🤷‍♂️

It happened last week after a Peregrine update admitting that the previous guy in charge was misappropriating campaign funds. They are going into business with Micah. Piper responded during the previous Slum Lords episode on DarkGift's channel that they have cut her off from the project and are trying to screw her over from her payment and co-creator credit. Micah made a response video on his channel.

Just a summary, the info should be there if someone cares enough about this to compile it.

Well, that's just stupid.

Everybody knows that the proper procedure for Doomcock is to point out his predictions are almost always bullshit.

KATHLEEN KENEDY WILL BE FIRED NEXT TUESDAY GUYS! I PROMISE!

Very sad to be again reminded how far Zac has fallen.

Ha he just said 50% of CF2 backers haven't even gotten that order yet and most said they wouldn't be backing CF3 until they did. Hows that for an excuse?
I don't understand how someone can fulfill half the orders and then just fail to fulfill the other half. There are solutions to these issues that have existed for a long time and it's not like it's an issue with the run as a whole, rather it appears to just be rather half assed.

It's my opinion that Comicsgate is dead. Remaining drama consists of necrotic homeless bumfights between slum dwellers and sneaking of prostitutes and drug dealers in and out of the CG Kings retirement village using scam funds. However there is one newsworthy item that has already spread around twitter and youtube over the last week, a thread related legal case worth tracking has surfaced. It has been going on since last year but kept under wraps. PumaFist (also known as PedoFist or GroomaFist to some) dropped the bomb that Jon Del Arroz @TheCosmicWarrior wife left him and unfortunately for Jon the claim checked out.

SAMANTHA DEL ARROZ VS JONATHAN DEL ARROZ

As you can see there's some pretty serious looking action going on here in these separation/divorce papers, with Domestic Violence restraining orders filed covering the wife and minor children. It would be speculation of course but this implies Jon Del Arroz beat or threatened to beat his wife and/or children or is a risk of doing so. Preliminary work is being done to sell properties also.

"Do to others what you want them to do to you" as brother-in-christ JDA would say. His many targets are having a great day as they slowly find out about what Jon has been up to. Here's Lodonis Dragonstorm or Author Steven Walton (a man on the brink of homelessness who is a frequent JDA target of ridicule) reaction posted on youtube and tiktok:

Also of interest is an archive interview by forum member @9th legion centurion 002 with Sam Del Arroz from 2021, Recently re-posted and thankfully edited down to skip the stammering and yapping of slum CG people who were also guests. Here we have such gems as Jon and Sam met when she was ""barely legal" his words, JDA watches porn, Sam will not use a strap on with Jon, and at least once his wife had to drop him. Also he walks around on his tippytoes because he's self conscious of being a manlet.

If CG had to end it's nice that at least there's a happy ending. Fuck JDA.

Wasn't it the wife who had the money and funded his country club tennis-pro lifestyle? That's heart-warming.

Video games killed the comic book stars. What Eric is doing is the equivalent of a wind-up toy in a Happy Meal though unlike Sciverfrog it won't take 3 years to produce! Of course I judge by appearances in this case, but I'm open to be surprised if it's better than pedestrian level. I'd love to see a name change: "Isom" just sounds awkward.
In all fairness, I think it was revealed by Eric on one of his streams that Isom right now was a three-parter. Where Isom's story goes from there, who knows.
Overnight numbers are in and CF3 is at $286k with 1,918 backers. This is tracking well below CF2 numbers which made like $150k in the first 20 minutes (according to a launch-day post on pg 743). You sir are no Eric July. See what happens when you push Liam Grey out of your movement?
Because Rippa actually planned accordingly, unlike this tub of lard. There's no reason why he shouldn't have as big of numbers as July, even though he's known in the comic book world more.

Is that even a bonus when it comes to sales? Far as I can tell, Eric July is mostly selling to his normie audience, most of whom probably have never even seen a Marvel/DC comic in person. Ethan on the other hand is selling to jaded ex-mainstream fans who are willing to shell out money for horrendously overpriced, mid-at-best indie comics, that’s like a niche of a niche of a niche.

EVS has been on Tim Pool and other shows, so he should be able to leverage his history to normies if nothing else. No clue how Eric July manages to get the numbers he gets, but those in the industry should probably learn whatever it is.

Eric July hasn't outed himself as an amoral grifter who doesn't actually believe in any of the principles that he peddles for superchats like CG has. Yet.

That and it he seems to invest in product fulfillment and making more products so customers aren't waiting for years to get what they purchased and have something new to look forward to.

That's just one of the many principles CG pretended to believe in to extract money from stupid people.

[Can't lie, I was one of them once. Never again.]

The differences between the "Comicsgate Model" and the "Rippaverse Model":

Comicsgate books are inevitably announced long before delivery, sold on hype and then arrive months if not years after the "delivery date" (if they arrive at all)

Rippaverse books are made in advance and thus can be delivered as soon as the campaign is finished

Comicsgate profits are used to buy pointless bullshit. Using the profits to, say, prefund the next campaign so you can actually deliver product on time is out of the question

Rippaverse profits are used to expand the business and to reduce operating expenses (eg. investing in warehouses and trucks to reduce logistical costs)

Comicsgate creators are offered an unreliable income based on pandering to a combination of 90s nostalgics and angry right wingers. If they can't cut it then they're reduced to fighting in the gladiatorial arena of the Comicsgate Live Streams and hoping Emperor @FROG gives you the thumbs up, letting you eat ramen instead of dog food. This creates an environment where drama farmers, scammers and retards win out over competent but boring creators. This also causes the already tiny "Comicsgate market" to split into increasingly insular chunks centered around cults of personality rather than quality.

Rippaverse creators get a reliable and above average salary based on their talent rather than by begging on stream. This is possible because Eric July reinvests his profits instead of blowing it all on Bugattis and Funko Pops.

Comicsgate campaigns are dependent on countless unreliable third party companies. When these companies inevitably fuck them over based on political pressure the Comicsgaters whine and say how unfair it is without actually

Rippaverse campaigns do everything possible in-house and cut ties with anyone that fucks them over whether it's PayPal or IndieGoGo.

EVS and friends get into pointless drama with people over nonsense and clearly prioritize streaming and being an "internet personality" over producing books

Eric July avoids alienating people and doesn't wade into petty bullshit unless he's personally dragged into it. When his book oversold his expectations by something like 10x he basically stopped streaming and spent all his free time in a warehouse packing shit to minimize delays.

As Simple Zack said, the business of selling comics is like selling hotdogs. If you have to spend hours waiting for your hotdog or the vendor calls you a piece of shit and hopes you die then even the greatest tasting hotdog ever won't save your stand. Comicsgaters (and anti-Comicsgaters for that matter) spend all day debating the fine details of each individual comic when the underlying problem is the shitty business model.

And to be fair to @FROG if I made a 6 to 7 digit annual income doing my passion on stream I wouldn't be motivated to work overtime to improve things either. He's a talented artist, not a businessman. But as things stand nobody would leave Marvel for Comicsgate unless they're ideologically motivated or they have no other choice. Whereas if your average DC artist was offered a job for July making twice as much money and no drama it's hard to imagine any but the most fanatical or entrenched rejecting the offer.

EVS needs a tard wrangler QED. Rippaverse as a name sounds cheesy and is an obvious copy of the insertname-universe scheme but hey he's delivering product and fulfilling goals.

that's because eric july literally put down his own money, like 250k and took on that risk before asking anybody for a single dime.
comicsgaters are like liberals, happy just burning other peoples money while barely being invested into whatever it is, or it's just to be contrarian.
eric july cares about his product, put blood sweat and tears into it, invested in it himself and actually intended from day one to deliver with a viable product.
for everybody else, that was step 10, for eric it was step 1. he has the get the job done mindset

comic book writers killed comic books.
lets look at manga which is basically the exact same thing and one single manga is almost outselling the entire comic industry, you know why?
let's say you want to read batman, where do you start.
not issue one, it was rebooted, not this issue either, it was a reboot but there's a more recent reboot. okay you find the right comic to start out with. well there's alll these cameo characters that you have to read in different comic to get more context. how has it been 80 years and batman is still in his 30s? why is character who wasn't gay before all of a sudden a massive pozzholing faggot.

let's say i want to read dragonball, where do i start?
chapter 1?
no reboots, giant retcons, or mass characterization changes for the most part
what about naruto?
chapter 1
my hero academia?
chapter 1

there's also variety, if you want to read comics. there's superhero comics, and superhero comics and more superhero comics. they also make gay superhero comics.

if you want to read manga, you got slice of life stuff, school stuff, sports stuff, drama stuff. im not really into that myself, but some people are.
you certaintly don't get this retarded shit in japan, well let me rephrase. it's not praised like gods gift to earth.

imagine if toei or toriyama released a manga in the same vein, called im not goku. where it exists to put down goku for some shitty self insert character.
Hi. This is the writer of this post: https://kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojh....onion/threads/comicsgate.38138/post-13728909

I'm happy to say both of you are right.

In the 1990s, the whole anime and video game boom happened on an entertainment level because of the glut of way too much interference and shit from the government as well as "political correctness" and the ideas that "art is political" and the horseshit that "everything has to be real". While I ironically talk about politics at this moment, if I recall, some of the most basic freedoms of this nation are Freedom of Expression, and as we know, we live in a free world (that is heavily being encroached upon but hey enjoy it). In a world with free men, what do you think will happen? They will turn to the next hope of freedom. Oh sure, video games and anime and manga had industries back then too.... but they were first and foremost platforms for the creators because the shareholders and executives that without good content, they were fucked.

This is why so many kids and youth anime fans flocked to wanting to get the fuck out of America back then and bashed the fuck out of America and comics and Disney and shit. It's wrong to believe another land is paradise when you don't know what really goes on over there, but when your own territory isn't being tended to and is fought over in a series of shitty nepotistic self centered civil wars, guess what people are going to do?

Lastly, imaginations and minds don't like to be messed with. There should be variety, there should be a wide selection of things, but even since before the 2000s boom even, anime as a style was the only fucking thing in terms of sequential art standing the line and combating the stigma that "comics and cartoons are only for kids". Even while comics were recovering after the Crash and Nick/Viacom and Disney weren't shit, the damage was already done. Anime and manga and video games were the three person JRPG party journeying through the FFVI World of Ruin and Chrono Trigger 23XX like shithole that was the late half of the 1990s and doing what was needed of them in the day. And I'll say this again: the government doesn't want you to have imaginative shit. It wants bodies and followers, not thinkers and doers. It wants people united in shit politics, not communities and spirit. This is why they burned comics in the 1950s and imposed the code. This is why Hollywood and its heads abhorred the ideas of investing in animation and sequential art as a legitimate artform. This is why in the 2000s, they invested millions into Halo and put a fucking cokehead to be the representative of video games. Imagination works your brain, and it gets you to question.

Sorry if I took a totally left turn here, but with all of the shit happening in the world, I have to say it. Take care of yourself.

Tonight on JACK Show, a drunk Shane Davis and drunk (and high on shrooms) Cecil Says - reporting live from Tampa Bay CC - came upon a random drunk dude passed-out on a bench outside a hotel in Tampa and streamed themselves (by way of Anna TSWG's channel) committing assault & battery that began with a vigorous shake, escalating to an improvised draw stream when Shane borrowed a sharpie from Kelsey Shannon and used it to doodle a penis on this incapacitated stranger's lower back and concluded with Cecil kicking the gentleman several times. This crime was committed live on YouTube while being egged-on by Anna, Jon, Nina Infinity, and Ethan Van Sciver.

Developing...

Screen Shot 2023-07-28 at 3.58.39 AM.png

EDIT:
Anna, perhaps inspired by the numerous $50 / $100 superchats received once these hijinks began, decided to leave the stream up in Unlisted state overnight for ease of clipping and reposting. So check it out in it's original state while you can.

EDIT:
Here's the main clip:

Shane, after apparently being warned by the valet that generally molesting this person would likely constitute some kind of crime, gets the idea from EVS to specifically vandalize this passed-out drunk stranger with a sharpie marker. A fact that EVS remarks on with astonishment while Shane is getting the sharpie from Kelsey. It's unclear if this implicates Van Sciver in some kind of criminal conspiracy that Shane Davis has now taken steps in furtherance of and indeed acted-out to completion, but that's for legal scholars to debate. Can you even threaten a sleeping person? Does it matter once you've upgraded your antics to battery? Will Tampa Police and YouTube be able to follow-up on this incapacitated person's condition once Anna deletes the video in the morning? Are doing college-age pranks when you're 40 and have a wife and young child back in your hotel room sleeping kind of a bad thing? What if they're actually kinda funny, though, to the point that they make Ethan Van Sciver fall out of his chair, and everyone says you're cool for doing it?

I have the stream in it's entirity and will try to get the whole ordeal (all 3 separate encounters with the victim) uploaded tomorrow/this weekend. I have the entire stream.
