One of the animators called the update "housekeeping" and getting rid of a dirty sock that's been there for years.
Heh, it's hilarious that the animator here is pulling the ol' Barbra Streisand effect just to shut down any form of criticism towards the new Skullgirls update.

Strange how these people (Kinuko in particular, since she's also on-board with the censorship as the lead of Future Club) drew thousands of frames of sexualized art and animation of Filia, yet they're only now starting to retroactively call it CP, 12 years after the game released? Does that now make Kinuko and the rest pedos?
If they literally just aged Filia up to 19, nobody would bat an eye based on her design. If you asked someone to group the Skullgirls cast by age, 100% of people would associate Filia with Parasoul, Valentine, Cerebella etc. than ever even consider grouping her in with Umbrella or Peacock.
None of the people championing this censorship will ever talk about Skullgirls ever again after this. They get to run their victory lap around the "Capital-G gamers" for 3 days and then run off to the next big thing they can ruin and then claim to be long time fans of. Rinse and repeat, it's the modern tourist cycle.
People will find something they like, and then other people will fuck said something up as people will move on to something else and then rise and repeat.

This censorship bullshit is horrendous, but I'm also a bit out of the loop on all of the drama and controversies surrounding the game and it's staff up to this point. Could anyone make a brief timeline of events to post? All I remember for other points is some obnoxious black queer guy's fursona being added into the game that also raised a stink.
Which is funny, it used to be evangelical conservatives who want to censor everything, and while there are a lot of them, they're nowhere as big as hardcore leftists that consist of trannies, groomers and other series of SJWs nowadays.

that's just their "anti-reviewbomb" mechanic and has been a thing for years (iirc it came after gta got reviewbombed after fucking with modders and take two or r* got pissy).
however apparently it has to be checked manually, so someone at valve did it after review. fwiw it tends to apply to everything during that timeframe, positive reviews included.
activists will move one to the next big to fight for, while people continue to write negative reviews. so it's mainly a just a sad attempt to curb people being pissed.

From what I hear, MikeZ and Alex have nothing to do with it.
This is the result of a successful 10 year campaign that managed to pry Skullgirls from its original team.
The current team is a bunch of moralfag trannies who used fake allegations to get both Alex and Mike cancelled.
Now they corrupt SG with their faggotry and cleanse it of racist stereotypes and harmful sexy women.
Wait, when did Alex get cancelled? I've only heard of the bullshit they did to Mike.

Almost all negative reviews from the 26th of June onward have been censored, yet retarded reviews that have nothing to do with the game such as "A Hideo Kojima Game" are still up. I don't really think I have to explain how this is retarded

With Mike it comes down to two parts: The DM saga is covered right on the first page. Then he made a "I CAN'T BREAF" joke while commentating a game. Really it comes down the same thing Mike's always been: A massive autist with no social skills.
