One thing I am curious about is how much better Ralph’s life will be now that he is done with the catboys. Sure, he’s the same person but he did claim that a lot of his shit he did was for Nick. I’m not excusing him from responsibility but Nick’s cult seems like living in a death cloud 24/7. He still has all that legal shit, but maybe he can take it on and accept his past problems instead of constantly doing gay ops for Nick.

There's no redemption for a junkie who abused his kid and abandoned another, but I think people are just excited to see him talk shit about AF/Nick even if only because he was ostracized from the group and not because he's genuine. If anyone is consistent, it's Ralph. He will put a match to any goodwill he's accrued and make every wrong decision without fail. It's an exciting happening regardless. I'm just wondering if he's going to end up in another country in the next 30 days, I think the mexico arc is nearing an end.

YES! I am just bitter Ralph had a week long bender and he only Pillstreamed twice, yes I'm upset he's riding on such a high being the center of attention for snaking on the last audience he had left, he's not going to need to be on a bender for a few weeks to a couple months. Gunt's behavior may be outrageous by human standards, but he's more like a zoo animal. It's up to the viewers to understand that while he is fascinating to look at, and can be friendly if you feed him, he might randomly bite you if you get too close.

1. ralph is irredeemable, not because he's on the 'wrong side' or has gone too far, but because the particulars of his personality and flaws are what make him a gunted hobbit. redemption means getting your life together, not just yelling FUCK YOU at a different group of people, it's hamartia from tragedies, the character traits define the story
2. whatever realignment of 'friends' this leads Ralph to are the most retarded associates of his to date. if rackets or anyone else that've dealt with ralph choose to work with him again seeing that every. single. one. of his relathionships end in FUCK YOU PEEDOUGHFAHL and still go along, they deserve what inevitably comes.
3. fuentes is just as disloyal as ralph, he kept him along for years despite being a problem with the justification of loyalty. now trying to turn around and realpolitik doesn't make you a 4d chess high iq machiavelli, just that you're willing to cut anyone to help yourself, and aren't even smart about who and when.
4. fuentes has completely burned out and fallen off. the fact the entirety of that sphere can be derailed by ralph proves not how big ralph is, but how small they are, compare it to the other blips when ralph interacts with more established media figures and is brushed off. it's a political movement with no politicians or policies, it's just sitting around making twitter accounts

Josh is the first one to have contact with Ralph post-cozy, so it would be him that has the demon now, if you count internet interactions.
