Update on my search for the rape SWEP. I have discovered that there is a mirror of it for TTT called Snuggle Struggle. I also found an edited version of the original with some russian sound effects. I compared the Lua between the Russian audio and the TTT one and they are the same.

This one works with NPCs and custom player models, the base/Russian one does not work with NPCs. I've attached both an archived download of the Snuggle Struggle GMA and the Russian rape SWEP GMA. It might be a good idea to extract these out in case they do something funky with GMA mods, just drop them on gmad.exe in the /bin/ folder of the Gmod root, then put the output files in your addons folder.

Bub Games just released a follow-up to his original video documenting Garry's Mod Five Nights at Freddy's roleplay servers and the degenerates that inhabit them. It's a really entertaining saga. I really think he'd fit in well on the Farms and I wouldn't be surprised if he lurks here, though he does do some annoying fearmongering and virtue signaling about Nazi RP and the use of slurs in a few of his other documentary-style videos, I actually lean more into believing he doesn't fully buy into that mindset and is just saying it for the brownie points, as he's called people "retarded" and "brain damaged" in some of his trolling content.

In the month since that video's release, a few of the pedophile furries he covered in his first video have had massive cow-tier meltdowns, apologizing for spamming CP/explicit cub art in Bub's Discord server. He also has direct interviews and interactions with a few of them, where they attempt (poorly in a very autistic fashion) to justify and explain why they aren't actually pedophiles for saving and gushing about art of young furry children getting fucked. One of these deviants makes a shirtless apology video where he claims "video games were his life" but now he's getting a better grasp on reality, which is met with predictably negative reception. This causes him to follow it up with a video where he renounces that apology, doubles down on consuming CP/cub art and then challenges the Internet at large to do something about it. He is swatted shortly afterwards and then begs to be left alone.

It bothers me nothing came of this, sucks seeing screenshots of a child being exploited and being pretty much powerless because there's not enough evidence. (cheers discord)

I'd be pissed about this but I already can't get the fucking game to launch without using proton because the mongs let a library file in the linux build break months ago and they still haven't fixed it, and before that was the ToS bullshit and him randomly going aggro at WWII RP servers which both left me not wanting to touch the game at all. That's lame, but proton seems to run games incredibly well nowadays. Gmod runs like a charm on Steam Deck, and I get that's more specific hardware being aimed at, but unless you have a potato pc I don't see it running like shit on your Linux build.

This will still scare off a lot of modders that would otherwise make mods with copywritten material, and likely has already lead to a loss of several mods unless there's some archive of all of them out there. People aren't just going to want to go back to the days of dedicated modding sites, the workshop is too convenient.

DMCA notices are signed under perjury. Theoretically, this is a crime, but as far as I'm aware, nobody has ever been prosecuted for it.

There is also very narrowly defined bad faith DMCA abuse for a civil tort, but I think all of those cases resulted in dismissal.

DMCA abuse is a very effective way to get huge companies to troll for you with total impunity. I hope more people start abusing it so something changes.

Yes. You have to prove malice. This is very hard to do. He could claim he loved Mario and was just trying to help Nintendo and that would probably be good enough to get out of it. Unless he writes somewhere, which can be authenticated, that he knows what he is doing is illegal, proving malice is almost impossible.
