I would  love to say the vast majority, at least the grunts or cannon fodder are just zoomers being edgy. It's pretty clear that Nick is trying to milk so-called zoomer nostalgia as an aesthetic of his clique (2016, 2017 and 2018 are sacred years for zoomies apparently) and the addition of Leafy more or less sealed the deal. Their sense of humor revolves around is pissing people off first in the most trashiest ways possible, which isn't exactly the best basis for a political movement but y'know "Bernie Rose's Scorched Earth Theory" is in effect right now.
