I have not seen the comparison made yet, but there is a much more successful Minnesota lawyer on YouTube. His name is Bruce Rivers, from the channel Criminal Lawyer Reacts. He boasts a long history of taking cases to trial, stating that prosecutors will take you more seriously if you do have a record of going to trial. He is serious enough in his practice to be considered a specialist. This heavily contrasts Nick's history of plea deals and slothful behavior.

Possibly the best comparison point, however, is that Rivers loves his child enough to have his son assist in content creation and credit him with the success of the channel. Nick instead expresses disdain well enough that we have to speculate if he regrets his children.

I bring this up because this is a lawyer who works under the same state laws, also in defense, but is wildly more successful in both continued growth and maintaining a law career. I consider this further proof of Nick being a wet noodle of a man.

That's the crazy thing about this case, as Nick didn't qualify it with a "probably" or "sources tell me" but said it as a matter of fact. More importantly, the insult he chose wasn't something like "retard" where you can argue there's a common usage of it which means "fool" so it's an insult of opinion, or even something like "rapist" which you can argue has a meaning outside of sexual assault, in the person has an ear raping voice. Nope, Nick chose "pedo" which has no other meaning besides a person who assaults or wants to assault children, and then added to it that the person actively assaults young boys.

Nick has always struck me as a guy who was dorky in high school and probably didn’t get a lot of opportunities to dabble in anything fun. I don’t know if his wife is the major bad influence but my impression is she got him into the sexually deviant shit and nasty tattoo habit. Between the influences of Kayla and Dax, maybe Nick became convinced that midlife was his chance to become a cool guy.

Cringe is such an overused word but I think that and pathetic are both extremely appropriate for what Nick has been doing the past few years.
