Admin of PFG/Owen forums points out that the court may be SOL in denying a video recording because Quasi (plaintiff) has a right to maintain his privacy and view the hearing in order to preserve the record in case of a Fat appeal. IANAL.
The transcript is generally considered a sufficient record for this purpose.

Pat is an alcoholic. The odds are pretty good he will show up in some stage of inebriation, or hung over. Maybe someone familiar with the possible routes to the courthouse could point out the bars along the way where Pat might stop in for a little nip o Dutch Courage? I just find it funny we all know who he is and where he works and how many sinks he has and he just keeps going. He's truly dedicated. Some would call him a hero.
I also can't help but compare the way all the pests constantly use his name for everything to the way ricky would with traver/corey/randy/lahey in TPB, which makes it even funnier. Dan, court documents, let's go!

What he told the judge is burned into my memory because of its stupidity. When the judge realized he had no evidence on hand and asked what he thought was going to happen, pat literally said "I thought you were going to listen to what I had to say." He legitimately thought he didn't have to prepare anything because the judge would just believe him and send all the stalkers to prison.
