Considering she's so incompetent she considers building a PC (not carefully selecting the best parts, actually snapping the fucking pieces into place) to be a sign of tech mastery, it's not exactly out of the realm of possibility. Plus in her livestream the game was barely functioning with ear-shattering audio and frame rate drops that made the animations look like something from an early south park episode. That doesn't exactly bode well.

It's mostly a meme really. It's more likely that John just hasn't done shit to port the game and doesn't know how to do it.

I agree that it looks bad, and Flynt/Wu has a bad track record, but I don't see why he would pretend he has something going on NOW of all times if he is just going to fall back to ' gators ate my game '. He has no credit to lose with these delays.

I also doubt the patreon money means anything to him since Frank is the one bringing the money home.

I'll add my 2 :autism: here:

4. The PC version(s) were "completed" by Wu's staff back in 2014. We know this because several of her staff listed their finishing the PC version on their LinkedIns.
5. Wu could theoretically reverse-engineer the current IOS release of the game, same as her team initially did, but she has no idea how to program or code and she'd have to hire all-new staff to make it happen. The Kiwi Farms literally has a better shot of doing this than Brianna Wu.

We should get this info to Hosk.

If Kiva Bay can smoke away the $30,000 she was given to make a bunch of cards and have her donors look the other way because of "muh horsemint", then I'm guessing John is going to make that his exit strategy when the deadline comes and goes with nothing to show for it and the Patrons start getting restless.

Don't be surprised if John starts claiming that Donald Trump gave Gamergate the money to hire Jace Connors and 3 dozen trained Marine snipers to steal/destroy the source code for Rev 60....and rape her dead dog's corpse.

It's been discussed a couple of times in the past but the Patreon still serves two functions for Brianna:

1. Patreon numbers are kind of like a SJW hipster power level - the more you got (dollar amount and patrons), the more influence you are perceived to have in that social circle. And Brianna is obsessed with keeping up the illusion of being a big mover in the circle.

2. @Jaimas touched on it in her wiki entry but several sources have mentioned that Brianna sees the money on Patreon as her "play around" money. Frank makes good money but even he has limits.

John Flynt / Brianna Wu is a fucking freak. A gangly, ugly disgusting freak. I cannot believe Frank had a pretty attractive wife and decided to help John pay for sex surgery instead. This train is gonna fucking crash one day. Only one game published in 5 years is not something that can be ignored forever.

Don't underestimate the problems the archaic image uploading technology of Steam may give even a genius software engineer such as Brianna "Doctor" Wu. It could take her weeks of tweeting about movies and comics to work around such primitive software.
