His reaction to the Oscars hasn't been posted yet? The Oscars that happened back in March?? I assumed the video came out and I just cared so little that I forgot about watching it, not that he hasn't released it. Is there anyone that's seriously waiting for that?
That's been his MO for years regarding the Oscars and he live streams his reaction to the show. Despite releasing his edited Oscar commentaries in summer, they seem to do well. But yeah its strange that he doesn't capitalize on views by trying to release them by the end of March while its still in the public's consciousness.
I don't know of Adum & Pals will ever reach the heights it did during 13 Reasons Why.
Adum will always defend the easy position on trannies when it's convenient, but I suspect that as a gay he doesn't really give a shit about troons and probably secretly hates that they've co-opted the shit out of his community, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's wise to their psychopathy.
But if it's a clip from a stream, that does add value. I'm not fucking watching a 3-hour stream in order to find the four or five 15-minute bits that are worth watching. Doing that effort and putting them in a place that is separate from the main channel content is both transformative and valuable to people who would not watch the source streams. Streamers do this all the time. I don't understand why this is suddenly a problem for youtube, aside from the fact they're just blatantly shaking down creators for fucking anything, probably because they got caught scamming their advertising investors.
Aside from early YMS reviews like the multi parters around Shamylan, The Walking Dead and that kidnapping scaremongering movie among a few others that was the peak of Adam's channel. Everything after has been clearly worse including YMS from the mid 2010s on. When YMS got weaker Adam and pals picked up the pace and now even that is infrequent and when it happens it just is not as funny.
