Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Split has happened because Mao was Stalin's aka Dzhugashvili's fanboy. In 1953, Mao sent a letter to USSR leadership and got told to buzz off. Or a gist of it. I could be wrong, though

That and didn't the CIA and Kissinger do their damn jewest to make it happen?

I am not sure the chinks would be fooled again by the same tactic.

Foor me once, shamefur dispray for me, foor me twice, I eat your zoo!

No idea why hohols kept their tanks clumped up against the Madland Tanker.
Perhaps it was a stupid thinking that they can only run into one mine that way, and the mine was bigger than they realised.

But hohols in general just love to lump their tanks into a single small clump we had seen it before.

My panzer experience comes from RTS where you do that if you are worried about enemies picking out your units 1 by 1. But that only works with like 60 meter gun ranges, and AOE attacks usually make it a bad idea.

Like artillery. Which the ruskies love. I maybe missing something here, but in real life I see no benefit for this clumping. Just keep the tanks 50 meters apart.

Perhaps it is a hog's instinct to get into herds?

The split happened around Khrushchev’s denunciation of Stalin in 1956. Mao liked Stalinism for obvious reasons and started slapfighting the Soviets thereafter. It’s an oversimplification but that is the gist of it.

I think the Russians and Chinese can collaborate for several decades because a lot of their strengths are complementary to the other such as natural resources and manufacturing capabilities. It requires their leadership to acknowledge that and I think Putin and Xi see it but in 2040 when both are long dead, who knows. I’m not going to assume things are going to fall apart because Team America, fuck yeah! We’ve seen time and time again how leaders snatch defeat from the jaws of victory due to petty egos or pandering to kikes. Nobody here has the insight as to how this will play out in the long term.

That's been China Uncensored entire content: China's going to collapse any minute now! Well, when it's been years and it hasn't happened yet, I have doubts to those reports. Like Doomcock, I doubt they actually have insiders. What they do point to as problems can definitely be confirmed as US problems. Demographic crisis? Boomers are 70+ on average. People lying flat? Quiet quitting and corporate culture being absolutely toxic. Housing crisis? Houses can cost $1 million. One child policy? Feminism has created the no child policy. American conservatives have all kinds of weaknesses, but their hate-boner for China is the one that is of their own doing and of dubious reality. China isn't the source of American problems, it's American culture and American policies that give trouble to the US.
They do have insiders in China. Kind of, since they're sponsored by Falun Gong USA which is a CIA front.

What I read was they were grouping up to "safely" dismount. And do what? No fucking idea but supposedly wanted to use the vehicles as cover to get out of them. Clearly didn't go as planned, if that was the plan.

I don't have any dogs or cats for August but I do have this "Malaysian bear" that is currently in a Chinese zoo and definitely not a human. Seemed fitting with the talk of poorly constructed Chinese homes to have a poorly constructed Chinese bear:

Welp there goes the Ukrainian Air Force's dwindling stock (and Poland's too).

Russian air defense shot down a Ukrainian Mi-24 attack helicopter in the Kherson sector of the front. The downed helicopter may have been from a batch recently transferred to the Zelensky regime by Poland.

Sun bears are either real or a very long running scam. They're weird, but have been around for a long time.

Has anyone compiles a running tally of confirmed and suspected destroyed Ukrainian equipment? If they're resorting to North Korean stuff they may not have a lot left.

I think that both countries are keenly aware of their position on the world stage and are more than aware that any decision they make must be heavily thought out because the nominal global superpower and its lackeys are doing everything in their power to stop you without direct conflict, secondary powers that are actually aware of their position tend to be a lot savvier than ones that think they can afford to be sloppy.
Welp there goes the Ukrainian Air Force's dwindling stock
I thought that helicopters were army business, or is that just a NATO thing?

It's very common in former Warsaw Pact nations and nations heavily influenced by them for most (if not all) helicopters to be operated by the Air Force. Specifically the Frontal Aviation division. Which is usually also responsible for fixed wing close air support.

While I'm sure the equipment stocks are pretty dismal, I wouldn't consider any particular source of arms or aid to be a sign that they're lacking in a specific area. With few exceptions (once you've locked the logistics nerds in the closet), more artillery is always preferable to less artillery. The thing about rocket artillery is that accuracy doesn't matter that much in the first place, its all about saturation fire.

Holy shit, I haven't heard that particular techno beat since the mid aughts.

Sun Bears are very much real, and are actually a critically endangered species. They tend to be very shy and frightened by humans and usually try to avoid them, but of course there's a number of videos of Indian TikTok and Twitter clout chasers getting mauled by them for getting up close and harassing them like the dumbasses they are.

I don't know if there's been a real accurate tally/count of how much equipment the Ukrainians have lost. I know earlier in this thread there were numbers from the Russian defense ministry that put it at something like 6,000 or more, but that sounds almost as comically unrealistic as the Ukrainians' own claims of Russian material losses. It also doesn't help that since so many Ukrainian vehicles are also used by the Russian/Separatist side (especially at the beginning of the conflict) that the Ukrainians were very easily able to pass off their own losses as Russian losses, and often with the support of supposedly "independent" OSINT groups.

In terms of donated NATO equipment, from what I've seen here and in other threads, I think we can list the the destroyed or captured numbers as:
4-6 Leopard 2's MBT's (of both the A4 and A6 variety)
4 AMX-10RC heavy armored cars/tank destroyers
1 Alvis Stormer self-propelled SAM (possible)
15-17 M2 Bradley IFV's
1-2 VAB wheeled APCs
2 AHS Krab 155mm self-propelled howitzers
1 RM-70 122mm MLRS system
2 CV-90 IFV's
2 Gepard SPAAG's
1 Patriot SAM battery (possible)
1-2 Stryker APC's (possible)
At least one M101 105mm field howitzer
Numerous M777 155mm howitzers
Numerous M113 APC's
At least 2 FV103 Spartan APC's
1-2 ATF Dingo MRAP's
Numerous British Husky and Mastiff MRAP's
Numerous US MaxxPro MRAP's
Numerous HMMWV's

That's what I can think of off the top of my head. If there are any other military vehicle autists who'd like to go back through this thread (and the secret hideout) to double check on claims and footage of destroyed/captured NATO wunderwaffen, and maybe pool in other outside sources, we might be able to come up with a decent guesstimate of how much and what kind of equipment paid for by of our hard-earned tax dollars have been thrown into the Ukrainian bonfire.

As for those North Korean rockets, I still think those are the 122mm rockets that it was recently announced that Ukraine would be receiving from Pakistan (ie Pakistan bought them from North Korea years ago, and decided that's what they'd ship off to Ukraine to get Washington to stop breathing down their necks).

Those are for a single day, right? Because I've seen more destroyed Krabs than there were in polish military at a point.

And, russians only disclose what they want to disclose. Unlike ukrainians who'll create sixty pictures of the same tank and pass it off as a destroyed armored battalion.

That is negative credibility.
Atlanticist rags started publishing fantasies about China taking back Outer Manchuria and colonizing Siberia any second now somewhere in the mid-90s.
Gordon Chang has been predicting the imminent collapse of China for over a decade and has lately been joined by Peter Zeihan in the China-is-going-to-catastropically-collapse-just-wait-two-weeks choir.

It's all pure copium.

It's funny I've seen Wagner say that Isis wouldn't give up the fight in Syria but keep going until dead (they respected that) but they mentioned that Ukraine all the holhols will offer you money and beg in the face of death.

Nice complication video.

The crew members of the already legendary "Alyosha" tank, who single-handedly destroyed a Ukrainian armored column of 8 vehicles (including two tanks) in the Zaporozhye direction:
"Like our president once said, if you know there's going to be a fight, you may as well throw the first punch. So we threw the first punch... I would love to look [The Ukraine's] Western curators in the eye and say hi to the Leopard manufacturers. Those Abrams will be here soon, so we'll get to know them too. I think it will leave a trace with them and they will be disappointed."
"You're not going to believe it, but it looks like they had no idea this could happen. Wait until they see the video of one tank putting a lid on their offensive."
"As always, I want to say hi to my mom and dad, my family and relatives, what else?"
The tankers have already been presented for state awards for the accomplished feat.

Remember when the Ukrosimps were posting this everywhere, including here?
